The chorus is an absolute grower, and gets better every listen
I think it depends on the person because for me that’s not really the case I don’t think it’s a bad chorus why I haven’t been drawn to listen to the song on my own outside of these reaction videos that are on TH-cam
And it’s just my opinion but this song was all right but nothing special and nothing I’m really going to listen to like on my own when I’m listening to my music

Damn thanks for pointing this out. Matteo was the heart and soul for me in Novelists and while the new song isn't bad, it lacks exactly that. This track on the other hand is exactly what I like :-D
@@Luggi83 well imo matt has a unique way to sing and a really particular metric in every work he did. i also met him irl a few times and he's an amazing person. i also love Novelists bc they got a really cool groove. it was a shame that they split up bc they wanted different sounds..

I like it, but ... I miss that melancholic sound so characteristic of Novelists that made them so special.
I like them now too, but there are already many more bands that give me what they now offer.

I feel you completely, the past two singles were decent, but songs like Black Lights, The Lichtenberg Figure, Gravity, A Travers Le Miroir and Rain really made Novelists, well Novelists for me. Every song they released was a banger, but the melodic, hopeful and joyous songs and the opposites of them, the melancholic songs were everything that made this band stand out. I feel like a lot of bands that had that special characteristic are falling into the recent “Architects trend” of trying to be epic and triumphant, losing what made them special in the first place. Maybe when the album comes out we’ll see, but I don’t have a lot of hope. :(

@@lustandluster Here's the thing though: Architects lost their core song writer, created Holy Hell as a last taste of Tom's sound, and are now moving into a different sound. I just think calling it the, "Architects trend," is a little off/demeaning.

I saw this band live in Nagoya, Japan. Absolutely amazing and friendly crew. They put on an incredible live performance too. If you get a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it!

Idk. I really wanted to like the song, but I just couldn’t get past how electronically driven it was. Not a huge fan of the heavy vocal effects in the chorus.

anyone who likes the solo should check out Alazka’s last three songs. Same vocalist and same solo style.
Far better than the last one. The last one was very pop, in the very bad way of the word. The breakdown was lit tho, but apart that, it wasn't metal. This one is really good, metal all the way long, even with the chorus (I hate choruses, but this one was catchy and still metal, i have to admit it !)
