This song means so much to me and my daughter. We sang this many a morning, walking to nursery! It was and still is our power song. It literally lifts us, binds us and strengthens us. We believe it when we sing it and feel it with another. 3 years later, still playing and singing it together. It's so powerful for us, I imagine it will pass down! Honestly one of the more impressiv things about Jain's music videos, is how she's completely desexualized how they're typically represented, while maintaining her feminity and instead substituting it with her own personality. It's amazing to behold, and I think Jain deserves a lot of credit for proving that she can make amazing music videos, without having to represent herself in that manner

This probably symbolizes that feeling when you can't find the strength to quit boring/disappointing relationship, that's why they wear white shirts, while other girls in the video wear colorful clothes. But Jain shows that you totally can leave this behind and become yourself! Great message 👏🏻

"Badass" peut vouloir dire "dure à cuire" ou même avoir la classe, du coup le mot est complètement approprié, pour toutes les filles de ce clip d'ailleurs! :) Et je pense que c'est ce que Jain a voulu faire ressortir d'ailleurs, des filles qui excellent dans des domaines longtemps occupés par les hommes, donc des badass ;)
