I love both Lata and Asha. I never ever believed any horrible rumours about them. At a very young age, Lata inherited the responsibility of raising her siblings. She was the only bread winner in the family for a time and that required much struggle and hard work in the cut throat film industry. It is foolish to even doubt Lata & Asha's bond. Petty misunderstandings happen in ALL human relationships - why make a mountain out of a molehill? They are human just like us. Worse yet, they are always in the public eye and some people love to throw dirt at those who are successful. I wish the Mangeshkar family the very best. They deserve no less.

For me The most valuable lesson is nobody is above Critism. It is clear from her speaking that bhonsle sir didn't like her, even Ashaji was forced not to talk with lataji.
