Jason, I'm a 8 year e-bike owner, I just set up my e-bike with trailer so I can carry all my fishing rods as well as Crayfish Traps. I've got 2 spots to go, both far to far to walk, perfect distance for my e-bike. Same here in BC, Canada, can't use my e-bike for anything to do with hunting. There is an e-bike conversion vid on my channel, and the trailer vid is being edited now in case you are interested. Getting excited, to get out on the e-bike to stump shoot. Mike
I chose the E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown. It has 2 wheel drive, 2 batteries, dual suspension, fenders, hydraulic brakes with beefy 2.2 mm thick discs . It is an E-MTB for hunting here in Nevada. Very reliable components sourced form several countries and the Pahrump-based company headquarters only 50 miles from my home in Henderson, NV. So yeah, another boutique e-mtb company but one with great quality for the money. My bike was $4,800. before taxes which is great compared to ALL other 2 wheel drive e-mtbs because they don't have the many features my bike has and some cost a LOT more. My bike is rated to carry 400 pounds max.

@@SamkoTradBow let me know what you think. I’m trying to decide on getting one. Going to get a conversion kit to make my bike electric and use that trailer
I have been thinking about it. It would be nice to get the weight lower. But I don't think I want to deal with dividing the meat up on each side and cleaning out the saddle bags. This will be more pig hunter than deer hunting for me. And a pig will yield less meat that a deer most of the time unless I get real lucky! So the crate is fast, easy, and should work great. The crate also keeps my bow up high away from stones coming off the wheels.
I think that a setup like that would be awesome for myself and for getting deer or pigs out I would just ride back to the truck drop the bike off and off and grab my deer cart. If you can get a bike far back in a deer cart. Your still doing some walking but the hard part for me is finding the deer in the first place
@@SamkoTradBow Did the setup not end up working out to your liking for hunting or just switching things up just for fun? I ask because I have some things on order because I liked some of your ideas. I just saw this comment and wondered if the plan didn't work out. haha.

The bike is nice but instead of the set up you are using I would use a trailor like an altered kids trailor that has been stripped of the cloth and reenforced for hauling game and hunting equipment so as not to lose it to predators and add a mid drive high torque high power ( heavey duty hauling ) electric motor. Very well could do that as well. Personally since I process my own deer anyway, id rather bone it out in the field and stick the game bag on the back rack in the basket so I can ride it out.
