after seeing a bunch of people call this unsettling, off-putting and analog horror, it's very refreshing seeing someone appreciate this as the grade A comedy shitpost it is
Thanks! Yeah I feel like everything before this was more analogue horror. And to be fair, this was kinda framed like analogue horror, but for the most part I could just feel the comedy in it and I loved it!
Radio TV Solutions is a really underrated streamer group, they made the famous moonbase alpha (AEIOU) video, they made the fallout 4 video of him yelling "ITS JUST ONE OF THOSE DAYS", and they did the really popular serious "Half-Life VR But The AI Is Self-Aware"
@@Friendstoyourend You underestimate the fandom. It may have started as a joke but i know damn well there's some that believed it Also Mat Patt did a video on it iirc
Also, that final part of the Spamton Value Network special had some arrangement of an old Toby Fox song called "Nightmare Knight". ...Wonder if we'll be seeing the Knight face-to-face at last in these next three chapters?
Even if it wasn't Nightmare Knight, toby has sampled it in multiple deltarune songs, most obviously in "The Chase" which was remixed with "Spamton" in that ending scene so in a way you're right
I don't know what Noelle means with XP, but something just hit me right now. Is Toby foreshadowing the fact that we can make her gain XP(EXecution points) by killing darkners in snowgrave route?
In a way this makes sense as she's "getting stronger" after every fight, but there's no exact distinction she's earning "XP." It would be cool as a layered joke/reference, as "XP" in internet speak is just supposed to be closed eyes with a tongue sticking out emote.

That's precisely why it is so good, because it's not just a shitpost, it's a mild horror and OFFICIAL shitpost
@@verstamech yeah spamton Z spamton is about the only thing anything close to analog horror here lmao

They didn't make the moonbase alpha video, wasn't that just Gir and Kami in another group?

Spamton after not surviving was a reference to Steven After Not Surviving (S.A.N.S)
also known as that dumb theory of Sans being Steven Universe
Not a theory
It was made as a joke and people just thought it was real

The funny thing about the Skeleton Snow Globe?
The blurred image is a snow globe that features Jack Skellington and Sally.
I love how the snowglobe is just a nightmare before Christmas one.

Woah! Huge catch. I’m excited!!
oh the "nightmare night" song was actually made for a webcomic called cucumber quest, and i dont believe thats what was played at the end
@@aradiati0n Yeah, now that I re-listen to that tune, it's got a similar tune to the Spamton introduction version of "A Real Boy!"
