Should I do a Bachelors degree or Ausbildung is one of the common questions evryone asks themselves when thinking of education in Germany.This especially for foreigners because we aren't so conversant with the systems here.

It depends on the area u want to go later for example anesthesia side is better to go to degree straight is faster

This is a good video. I have done both Ausbildung and studying at a university. Students at a German university have to commit months of " Praktikum ". Which what Dual Ausbildung is about. .. doing theory and practicals....just better grades.
The real fact is not everyone makes to a university in Germany. ...people hardly do get through it.
So in university they do a lot of theory over three years or four...if medicine or law even longer...But that definitely entails your " Praktikum years ". There is a of demand on students at a university.
So nature it takes course...many get depressed and lose but many make it too.
Fact is..a company any where in the world will employ any person with a graduates degree over any Ausbildung person if they get a chance...coz not many people graduate...that's just how the world and Germany works for now..

I'd say No.If you already have your degree I personally don't see the point of doing an ausbildung unless you're thinking of changing the career path.And such fields (IT) always have jobs...I believe finding a job in that area shouldn't be a problem it's even possible to get one where not alot of Deutsch is required considering most IT stuff is originally in English....Just my opinion

I have now got it...Ausbildung is like community health nursing in Kenya whereby it is practical based from 1st year to 3rd and a half years while B.S.N Nursing is more of theory than practical until one combines internship and attachment programmes. I hope I got it right.
May I ask..how can I shift from a degree in public health and do ausbildung in Germany?
