LOL... for Portman to think showing her butt is doing a "nude" scene is hilarious. I've seen more of her butt in swimsuit picture. And for you guys to think that's classified as a "nude" scene is even more ridiculous.
I don't see the big deal. In Europe and other countries, nudity is seen as a normal thing. It's really only the US and a few other countries that make a bigger deal out of it than needs to be.
I agree. Most people in US are just hypocrites that pretend they don't like nudes and sexy women (or men respectively). So much hypocrisy in this country.....
It's because of all the prudes/ conservatives/ religious people in the US. Nobody else really cares, but the networks and movie producers don't want to get them pissed off. It's absurd.
Natalie Portman - Not counting the topless beach photos of her, she still hasn't done what would be considered "real" nudity. You can't see much of anything in Hotel Chevalier or V for Vendetta. She used a body double for Goya's Ghosts, even though that didn't show much of anything either. She showed her butt in Closer and Your Highness, but that's nothing you couldn't see on most beaches. I would say that Natalie Portman is most definitely NOT down to do nude scenes.
Helen Mirren went full Monty for Calendar Girls. Oh, and since I mentioned it there were the gentlemen baring it all for the Full Monty. Bob Hoskins was nude full frontal for Mrs. Henderson Presents. Frank Langella goes running down a hallway wearing a robe that is flapping wide open, displaying his manhood for all to see in the remake of Lolita. I believe there is nudity in Rent. Treat Williams in the Central Park swimming scene where he lets it all hang out in Hair. On stage, Daniel Radcliff did the whole nude thing in Equus. And I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of nudity in mainstream cinema by mainstream actors. How about the full frontal in Blade? Or Dracula? Even such things as the John Waters films. Then there is the Revenge of the Nerds films and Airplane. The list is literally endless.
i respect natalie portman for standing up for her values i think that's great although i'm sure i'm not alone in saying i wouldn't mind seeing her in a completely nude scene. lol
In my country there is a proverd saying "what the fox can't get, she declares as negligible." A nude scene can be artistically and meaningful. Besides that, talking about nudity in 2023 like we are living in the 1900s is just stupid.
I have a really clear memory from when I was 5 or 6 years old. This was mid-1970's, back when kids could play in the yard without adult supervision even before 1st grade. My friends dared me to pull my pants and underwear down and show my "down there". It was not really a show me yours show you mine situation, and it was in no way sexual. It was just a childish dare. A neighbor saw this and went to tell my mother. Mom was careful to explain I was not in trouble, but she was clear that I should never do that. Other people don't want to see that. I clearly remember the look the tattle tail lady had on her face. She was pissed off. The was when I learned that my body was offensive and ugly. We teach our kids these things and then wonder why young people have so many issues with body image. A child psychologist once stated that seeing adults and other kids was harmful. I have no idea how he arrived at that conclusion. I've never seen a single scientific paper to support this claim. Personally I think he just made it up, without any evidence. On the contrary I think kids never seeing others naked is what does such a great deal of damage. Kids only ever see naked people in magazines, on TV, and in the movies. Almost all of these people are "perfect" or close to it. People consider this standard as average as they have nothing to compare it to. This creates an unrealistic idea of what attractive means. On top of this they form a strong association between nudity and sex. This is extremely unhealthy. Children who grow up in a naturist environment see other people, adults and other kids of both genders, naked all the time (at least when the visit special beaches or resorts) and they almost never have issues with self image. I wish our society would move away from the taboo of nudity. The main source of this taboo comes from religion, which is odd, considering they believe man is created in God's image. If the human body is offensive then the image of God must be offence.
There are so many people that still says nudity is sinful and disrespectful. I had a woman accuse me of exposing myself being shirtless working on my pick-up changing the oil and giving it a tune-up. She called the cops and i was told to put a shirt on.
If you're acting and really wanting to do nude scenes, you've got to go "full frontal in a scene longer than the normal glimpse" to quote the ad campaign for Ken Russell's Savage Messiah... and run the risk of said scene ending up on a porn site.
If you do it be proud of it. If not don't do it. Talking about nudity in 2023 like we are living in 1900......it lives me speechless every time. Seeing movies from the 70s-80s-90s been so much free about that subject than in in the 2020s...... Why? I wonder...
As long as the person doing the nudity is comfortable, then that’s all that matters really. I personally would’ve t do it cos I’m uncomfortable looking at my body, never mind a whole film production crew lol
There's several reasons to wear clothes. It started as early humans began to lose their chimp-like body hair. We rugged up at each ice age. And, as humans are sexual animals, there was a need for modesty, lest we spend too much time bonking and not enough gathering nuts, tending the kids and spearing boars. Have we grown some hang-ups? Sure, but clothes helped us evolve.
Alex has the best attitude and personality. She’s like a free bird.
She is amazing.
Jaybird
Alexandria is a work of fine art.
oh yes😍
Hayley Atwell is still gorgeous too and Sydney Sweeny is the new boob queen even though I think Alex is prettier.
@@rlanesportscarterr😮
Being a bitch is not an art 😒
my favorite scream queen tbh
Alexandria made everyone happy. It was definitely a game changer for men😅
Alexandra Daddario is a godness. The human body is art if done tastefully.
oh yeah😍
Her body proves there is a God
@@charlieclark9552 yep
@charlieclark9552 so do her eyes lmao. Loved her in Radioactive

When you look that good, you can afford to tease us!

I'm in Germany and like you said no big deal.
@Andres64B - For sure, but it's also because of (certain kinds of) feminism.

Everyone knows it wasn't Natalie in Your Highness, it was her body double. I don't know why they even included that one.
EXACTLY.
you expect people doing these videos to have STANDARDS?

Nudity is cheap! To remain covered and still covered is much harder.
Give me a clothed actor who can carry the scene any day!❤
To remain covered and still what? Might wanna edit that, but yeah, overall agreed
...ok... 😂😂😂
Some people prefer cookery programs. Eating is just so easy.

No matter what you do, there is usually someone ready to judge you badly.
I have to judge you, because I'm not blind.
Gentlemen of culture we meet again 🎩👨🏾💼
I would have added Sydney Sweeney to this list she has done this and she looks absolutely incredible.
which movie?

4th as always😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 what a big surprise
Why no mention of (US?) mainstream male pioneer Richard Gere in the IMO terrific "American Gigilo"
Well they should do more, especially the women
Actors should be able to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Frfr the sex appeal of a female sets them apart. If you are just a pretty male. Let's keep it real
If you're acting and really wanting to do nude scenes, you've got to go "full frontal in a scene longer than the normal glimpse" to quote the ad campaign for Ken Russell's Savage Messiah... and run the risk of said scene ending up on a porn site.
Alexandra Dadario looks awesome without her clothes, if I had a gods features why not?! 😂❤
A Female view, she looks good no matter what.
julianne moore.....jennifer jason leigh......milla jovovich......isabelle huppert.....

Jenna Ortega needs to show more
It's her responsibility to society.
Yeah all good, but I could have done without Jason Noooooooooo!
I really like Jennifer Lawrence.
IIRC, Alexandra Daddario was not full frontal nude in True Detective. She showed her boobs but nothing else.
wrong, she showed more than ANY name actress ive ever seen. im talking EVERYTHING.
Life can and should imitate art. There is no good reason for covering our bodies. The tradition of wearing clothes has crippled us emotionally.

lol hayley atwell has 0 imperfections
thank god, after a certain age those bodies should be covered at all time, slims did it good, leave only a hole so they can see
Preach brother!
...Wait, WTF did I just read?
that was hot, to a point.
Excuses for break throughs
Awwwww these poor sexualized actresses 😂😂😂😂
Omg
Body double
There could have, should have, been more male actors and not just 1 in this video - and I am a straight guy...
well they only talked about 7 actors which is just stupid....
It's the only way to get ahead in Hollywood. You must take your clothes off.
Make America Great Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey
Alexandra is the cream, what a babe and Jennifer has an exquisite body and will do full frontal.
Who cares
I could careless how Natalie Portman feels....maybe we'll get lucky and she'll end it all😊
You should seek help
@thomaswillingham4084 - Huh?
