Are the 3 blade props any quieter than the 2 blade? Is the 1s version that you have significantly quieter than the 2s? I love how quiet my meteor75 pro is. I have dji goggles integra, but end up using my analog box goggles way more because of the noise difference. I’m thinking I need the hdzero goggles so that I could get a better picture than analog, but still fly super quiet 1s drones.
The 3 blade are quieter than the 2 blade but it's not as much difference as for example the 1S. In my opinion I would choose according to the size of environment you fly. But yeah overall I think the 1S is perfect regarding silent flying and it's light with HDZero with good image quality 😉
So I ended up putting on the Gemfan 45mm tri-blades that come with the meteor75 pro…performance is very similar to the stock bi-blade, but they definitely make less noise. My meteor75 pro is still slightly quieter, but this is by far the most stealthy dji drone I’ve seen/heard yet.
Interesting. Video looks decent when close to ground which I have worried is WS weakness. Have you measured maximum current draw with those more aggressive props?
It has the new 1S board that has so far handled my abuse well. Vid quality is imo not an issue of the HD systems but rather TH-cam compression (looks really bad if uploaded in 1080p)😉 I have not measured the current draw but it‘s save to say that it’s higher and flight time is shorter than with the 2 blades. I fly 2S 550mah tattus with 95C and did get around 3,5mins ripping around. So just for cruising or flying long the 2 blades are certainly better suited but for freestyle, proximity flying and ripping this is surely more fun.
@@McLogo76 Yeah, good point about Utube video degradation. My fav battery is GNB550HV for lightness and power. Get from 3.5-5.5 minutes depending on aggressiveness. I fly 2.5" biblades on 1103 10K motors with mild pitch. If your motors do not get excessively hot your fine. But in my opinion it is critical to match your motors KV to your prop pitch to get power vs efficiency you desire.
@@bcc1955 The 3 blade 2023 are 2.3 pitch and so far not an issue for the 1002 motors - they did not get hot. Off course a 1.5 pitch probably would be even better there are no 3 useful blades available. And after flying rhe 3 blades I cannot go back to the 2 blades, for me tracking and handling are so much better.
@@McLogo76 I can understand the added authority you are attracted to with the aggressive tri-blade props. Pitch 2.3 is radical for a 15,000kv motor that seeks to push over 120,000rpm on 2S but can never do. I am certain that if you look at flight time and efficiency that the trade-offs will become apparent. But no doubt they are fun while it lasts.
@@McLogo76 For test one could try HQProp 51mmx3 which uses 1.5 pitch, or clipping the Gemfan 2.5x3 pitch 1.2 props to 2 inch length. Maybe you can get better control and more efficiency. Maybe just can add another prop for you enjoyment.
Nice flying👍 I also just flash my firefly nano to bf4.4.0.I use UAVtech present for micro enable 48khz,rpm filtering and dynamic idle. But when i arm the motor turning crazy and stop.Is there any setting i miss out?
Yes, the motor alignment is not the same in standard betaflight. So you would need to check the motor positions in the betaflight wizard and the direction 😉 had the same issue the first time.
@@McLogo76 I see, that's great! I was going to try 1102 13500kv motors with gemfan 2023 tri blade props at 2s voltage. I am using happymodel x12 aio, hopefully it doesn't fry.
very cool wow🎉🎉
Thanks Lio 😉 Hope you and your family are well.
Thank you likewise😉🥳
Looks like fun in a small package...Enjoyed the Audio too....🤔😳😀😀😏🇬🇧
Thanks mate, it now is fun too fly also in tighter spots 😉

Sali, der kleine geht richtig gut👍👍😎
Hi Rolf, Danke! Der Quad macht richtig Spass 😉
Geht richtig gut ab der Kleine

Very interesting, did the battery life take a hit? This is now same as that happy model bassline
Yes, flight times are shorter but I do not feel the weight of the 550 95c batteries that much with the 3 blades.

Im so jealous that you hv lots of area and nice scenery to fly. In Singapore very limited area to fly and very strict.
Are the motors on the right position (1,2,3 and 4) in the wizard because that is different from the bf4.3 nano 20 setting and if you flash bf4.4.
@McLogo76 Ok the problem is motor position are wrong.Redo on motor tap and is now working.
Thks for the advice and fly safe.
Is the kv too high for three blade props? Or are the escs and motors able to handle it?
@@hansolo660 I had no issues flying the 3 blade props to be honest. Flight time was reduced quite a bit.
