- Exceptionally fun and dangerous matchup. I actually felt bliss fighting this thing with Normal HBG, it just feels so good shooting this thing with precision.
Seething Bazelgeuse has a number of attacks that seriously track, such as the big forward jump, that required me to ease on the trigger and always try to predict it's next move and especially that one ; so that I could slide away.
I had a couple runs where I managed to slay it without an area change but those somehow ended up slower than this one, which does have an area change. I'm very satisfied with almost sub 5 on this thing, it is really the best I could do.
Seething Bazelgeuse afflicted individuals, similarly to Furious Rajangs, are much more interesting fights than their healthy counterparts due to all of its downsides being negated ; it no longer topples nor takes extra damage when hitting its head and tail. However, as you can see in this run, it is still possible to topple Seething Bazelgeuse a couple times by dealing huge damage to its head.
Tune in for tomorrow's run, on another monster of similar very high level threat as Seething and Furious that also shares the same positives as them when afflicted, being a much better fight than its regular counterpart.
Also Furious Rajang's mounting punisher is my favorite in the game, that shit always cracks me up lol

Afflicted Seething Bazel is probably my favorite afflicted, they negated all of his downsides with it basically and he's so much fun. Having a unique anomaly burst is the icing on the cake. Definitely not biased with him being my second favorite monster under Namielle lol.
I too love furious rajang wyvern ride, that shit is so funny while still insanely powerful. Probably best wyvern ride in the game.

Honest question: is this pc where the augments are modded? Bc those are some insane augments my friend. Amazing run as well! Gonna try and make this build.
Ever since I started this channel I haven't used mods to modify my equipment or augments. There isn't even any reason to since the system is very easy to exploit especially after this update, getting amazing augments (and charms) is now very easy.

What armor would you recommend outside of risen kaiser for a Normal hbg build like this? You have to be a pretty high master rank to get teostra unlocked.

Wouldn't elemental ice normals be faster? I've always been curious as to why I don't see those in speed runs ever. Maybe they aren't as viable compared to standard normals?
Elemental Ammo is ridiculously scarce, you don't have enough to finish an Afflicted monster even after combining. I also don't play Elemental HBG anymore so
@@dynamo_lynn you can with followers tho. Because of the damage boost from hinoa+utsushi both using hunting horns. But it's extremely tight. You can finish the hunts using Luna HBG, but you basically need to hit optimal shots + setting sun like 90% of the time. Daora hbg is comfier as it also has single shot ice as backup ammo. And using raw ammo on anomaly seething bomber is more fun anyway.
I wanna ask you something, how did you get lower hp anomaly basically? 114k on lvl 200 seething is low. Mine have like 126k hp (min) up to 129k hp (max). You get lower hp roll with faster quest time limit and fewer faints?
@@cRz8484 Only the time of the quest affects HP. 25 minutes being the minimum and giving the lowest HP to the monster, the only exception being Zinogre for some reason iirc
