      Exactly. I like it now because we have bonded with it, especially over the last year. Before I was suspicious of it because I knew there was good reason to question Pearson’s motives. It was meant to have no meaning. That’s why people were so upset because they had given the old flag meaning through the world wars. Now that we have actually bonded with it, I now hear that its shameful and extremist to fly this flag and that it’s ruining the “meaning.” Seriously. The people’s bond with the flag is what gives it its symbolism and power, that’s why they are starting to dislike it now. In the next few years I’ll bet we’ll start to hear calls for another new flag for a “new Canada.” Seriously makes you think.

      @@gabbyduga7421 In 2022 they are starting to make the flag divisive now, like we shouldn’t fly it. They’ll call to change it again. Once the people bond with it like they have now, it has failed to serve it purpose. That was Proto-Globalist Pearson’s intention, no meaning for a New Canada, the “first post national state” with no mainstream culture. It was a well designed flag for that purpose. But it’s the people’s now, and that must change. You’ll see. 🇨🇦

    • @TheUnknownCountry

      Canada was founded as a conservative country in response to new-thinking Americans after the Revolutionary War. Get your history straight. Pearson and Trudeau #1 destroyed it. Pearson was a suck up to Kennedy and sold the country. Trudeau #2 is doing a good job as well. You’re a shame to your Loyalist ancestors, if you even have any. The flag has important symbolism now and they are starting to dislike it because it was never meant to have that at all. Don’t you get it? The soldiers that fought under the old flag were not failing to think anew like good little Liberals, they saw through Pearson motives, even though he was a soldier. One of the Most shameful land overrated politicians in our history.
      To quote Diefenbaker: “He shouldn’t have won the Nobel Prize.”

    • @iVenge
      @iVenge ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TheUnknownCountry You presume one hell of a lot. Loyalist ancestors? No such thing, colonial. Not necessary. My ancestors are the same as my family today, and my people are the reason you even exist. So if you really want to play that game, this is how it is played: when a British person tells you that they like your flag, you say thank you, just as a loyalist should, and never, _never_ reference a Hun in your response. If you really want to do us a favour, don’t let your savages and woggies ever change the BC provincial flag. That truly would be a crime.

    • @TheUnknownCountry
      @TheUnknownCountry ปีที่แล้ว

      @@iVenge How are your ancestors the Reason I exist? I exist because of my own ancestors who built have this country for 235 years. Are you British then? I wouldn’t want anyone to change another flag. Yes, I live in British Columbia, I know why it has that name and proud of it.
