Damn, 6:29, we now officially have a road legal car that is concerningly close to GT3 racecar pace, it's half F1 car but still impressive af for something that is road legal.
Maybe they want Porsche to react first. And see if they get close. Would love to see Aston Martin take a shot. Curious what that new RB will do as well.

And that in a vehicle with significantly less power and a tire performance that would not find any application today, even in amateur sports. The performance of the AMG One is in honor, but drivers like Bellof and Bernhard are from a different galaxy when it comes to driving.
Power to weight in Bellofs car was much better. And even more downforce.....no surprise. But the conditions (harder to drive car, no aids....) made it more dangerous. So you can't say he drove better, but the had the bigger balls for sure

We appreciate it! The aerodynamic design and engineering of the AMG ONE are the primary factors influencing its speed. Matte finishes are more about aesthetics and personal preference.
Merc is always a little unlucky with the weather. Last time i knew the car had a lot more and i still think it can go faster with a more comfortable condition.
@@makko7275 Hey, the car is road legal, but the track mode setting it has and uses isn't. Hope that helps! (it's also not road legal in like a dozen western countries but nevermind that)

It was a different, shorter track layout back then. Bellof's time can't be compared with today's attempts.
