Hi Eric great video, sorry to hear about your seahorse, can't help you there but hope it survives, I run an auto aqua ato and it's a super piece of kit as long as you keep the sensors clean, on the video the algae looks more like cyano to me but water changes will certainly help, 18-20 nitrates sound good anyway happy reefing
Hey Jim! Thanks for watching! Thanks for letting me know about the AutoAqua.. i need to set it up properly. Just been so busy lately.. yes I'm going to be more vigilant on the water changes.. I really let is slide due to other things interfering. Appreciate you watching and you feedback!
Hi there that is cynobacteria you need to get your phosphate up (nutrient imbalance). You could increase your flow in the tank and also check that your RO water is reading 0 TDS. Good luck.
Hey there, thank you for watching and for your thoughts. Yes My phosphates are 0 again.. need to bump them up slowly. I checked the TDS and it's 0, in fact just replaced the cartridges a month ago. Thanks again for letting me know.
I had the cheap Kamoer and The Autoaqua Smart AWC, the Kamoer died within a week and the Autoaqua stuck in the on position while removing water from my aquarium, it overflowed my 5 gallon dirty water container and ruined the new flooring in my home office…
OMG you are kidding?? That's horrible ! Sorry to hear that! What are you using now? I have not used my AutoAqua unattended yet .. just don't have enough trust in it ... yet...

Good luck with the seahorse.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
with the 0 phosphate it could be contributing to the algae
Thank you for watching! I had a 0 nitrates issue for a long time then seem to overcome it ... then it went the other way!
