I picked up the 2A variant in green. Really fresh modern hue. The hands get out of the way when you press down and hold to set the timer and the alarm. Really cool feature for traveling: when you're in the world time mode, pick a time zone and hold down the top-right button to swap the Home Time with the World Time - it'll send the hands spinning. Best world time function I've seen on any watch.
I bought the same one as a Christmas present to myself. The Green colour is fantastic. Preferred it over the black due to the red highlight on the seconds display. Thanks for the tip on switching the world time zones. It's a great feature.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mr G-Shock! The Boston Brother has a New England accent... this explains why Jim is so eloquent. He's no more from Texas than I am.
Merry Christmas! This a good looking watch, I like the legibility. Right now I'm wearing the citizen promaster land U822. Is this GA-010 having the 10 year battery life?
@@JimKinkade Very good question, I have have three mudmasters, the GWG 1000-1A3ER, 2000 and GWG-B1000-3AER, and the prw-6900y protrek which uses the same movement as the first generation mudmaster. Oh and I forgot the battery powered GG-B100. They are big watches especially the GWG 1000, and in the winter I prefer more compact watches, I wear gloves and jackets, and the citizen promaster U822 is more wearable and legible, however I still prefer the mudmaster when I go for outdoor activities, the barometer and compass are very useful here in the mountains. And the GWG-B1000 is working well with the smartphone, location indicator is a great feature. But I prefer the citizen promaster U822 at work.
Merry Christmas Jim!!!

You know, I liked the GA better than the GD.

Yes, sir. No solar but there is a 10 year battery. Do you like the U822 better than the Mudmaster?

Merry Christmas you mofos!
The latest G-Shock watches (like in the last year, year and a half) have been less than stellar!!! Very underwhelming.
Maybe 2025 will be their year.
