Oh man I remember the makeup craze the few years pre COVID. I actually think you did pretty well. It was a time of trying things to see what you liked,so even the regrets served a purpose. I was trying to access my order history but I can't see past a couple years and the picture isn't even coming up if the item is no longer available.
That top is SO CUTE. It matches your coloring perfectly. I'm probably going to shop at Sephora way less now that I've started getting my hair done at Ulta and accumulate SO MANY points
Hi Steph so much stuff 😂. I have been buying makeup and skincare since I was twelve 😂(although obviously more simplistic back then - I had eczema and had to use a milk cleanser and moisturiser every day even back then) and I am 52 now - that is forty years of buying beauty items 😳. I would hate to tally up what I spent, but I have never bought that much makeup in any one year. I’m not making videos or on social media however so it is a different thing altogether. I’m careful what I buy and I am on a budget, but everyone has a right to buy whatever they want to and we all have different budgets as well. I think 2019 was when I discovered K beauty skincare and haven’t looked back since. I still buy mostly K beauty skincare and then my actives from either prescription or Western brands (SPF has been the same for over a decade- Ultrasun and they’re European). I have no way to track my purchases of 2019 unfortunately either, but sometimes ignorance is bliss re beauty spending 😂. Best wishes x
I have the Ouai hair oil, and it’s just okay for me. I have really thick, naturally wavy/frizzy hair and I use the oil as like a finishing oil after my hair has been blown dry. I live in a humid area during the summer, and any touch of humidity my hair will feel puffy even with the oil in my hair. I’ll take your recommendation for the Ghost oil by Verb and try it!
This was fun - I think Pinrose still does perfume. I miss the fenty mini sets too that was my intro to them. Oh and I tried the shade riri the other day and my immediate thought was steph is right about this one! I also picked up the ghost blush quad and yeah it's still worth every cent that I spent on it. Oh and that year I got Marc Jacobs flesh and fantasy blush before they stopped shipping it to Canada and my goal is to eventually pan it so blush wise I made some smart moves.
I have the ysl all hours foundation. Oily skin, oily-normal skin customers will like this. If you don't like a matte look, don't buy this. I repurchased this because it lasts on my sweaty, oily t zone in the summer. I do enjoy most ysl products, especially their perfumes, foundations, lipsticks, and eyeshadows. Based on what your skintype and makeup style, I don't think you will like ysl products. You are more of a Dior customer, shiny glosses and dewy skin.
If you want to try a new facial oil, look into a sample of the Kiehl's midnight recovery concentrate. It literally changed my skin overnight, took away all of my texture and helped with clogged pores. I got a sample and have been repurchasing bottles ever since. Highly recommend!
This was SO FUN to watch and reflect with you & always love your humor - you truly feel like a makeup friend through the screen!
Love this pink color on you

I really loved this video! So fun to see Throwback Steph. Maybe I'll go back and rewatch ❤
you looks more put together in this cool tone style of makeup. too much bronzer looks a bit dirty on you, maybe it just me realized it.
Lol was someone asleep 5 years ago? You're so soft spoken 😂 or maybe you're just more confident now 😊 I love all the reflections!
This was fun! 😊💜💜
So cute seeing the old clips!
