I read the original San Jose location that was the first store to open back in 1977, at 370 South Winchester Blvd., closed its doors in 1985, only a year after the company declared bankruptcy and found itself in ShowBiz's hands.
What about the first Salinas Ca!? It was off Main Street years ago. I’m 38 years old and remember going there when I was about 5-7years old. Back in the late 80’s early 90’s

@@pineapplejuiceidk4151 That's the San Jose locations on Fontaine and Tully Road, which did open in 1981. San Jose (370 S Winchester Blvd) was the very first CEC PTT, which opened in May 1977 (most people, even the company, say May 17th, although some people say May 15th.). Winchester would close in February 1985, and Tully is still open. The second PTT ever, also in San Jose, at 1371 Kooser Road, opened on December 2nd, 1978 and closed in June 2020.
I grew up going in the carson one before I moved near the lakewood and Cerritos. Carson originally had the entrance both the inside and outside of the mall. I still remember where one of the doors were at. Can't remember if it was a 1 stage, 2 stage or something else. But one thing for sure, it's not a 3 stage. They closed it and moved it to the right side of the tunnlel where it was originally placed. Not sure why they moved it, thought of it kinda weird they did it. Maybe because some other store wants to take the original CEC space.

There was actually another location before the Lancaster location in the video. They were very close to each-other, even in the same shopping center/ area in fact. Its sign had the variation of chuck e with a yellow shirt on and winking. Thats probably an indication of to how old it was so if anyone could give a background to that location it would be appreciated.
Here's an interesting thing, so there is going to be a CEC in Santee, California (275 Town Center Pkwy), which is 15 minutes from the La Mesa store, so it may be a relocation of La Mesa, considering the fact the new owners of Grossmont Center (where the La Mesa CEC is located) have plans to redevelop the space by at least 2025/2026, as existing leases expire by then.
@@Jaydens27lolcoolthebestlol La Mesa is closing in a few years once their lease expires, there's no point in renewing since Grossmont Center is being redeveloped in the future and theres a modern CEC 15 minutes away
the 3 story one in San Jose, though i'm not sure it's still a franchise as the company is actively buying up any remaining domestic franchised locations (of which Fairfield was one of, the guy who owned it also owned the 3 story location in San Jose. Fairfield's closure allowed San Jose to keep operating during the pandemic. an independent pizza place called Gamex Pizza & Games moved into the spot where the CEC in Fairfield was but corporate gave them a good deal to buy it back and make it a company-owned CEC.)

It's weird seeing PTT and Rockstar Chuck on the same building.
I think its because of how huge that statue is and I don't see why the would destroy something as legendary as this

a lot of people also forget that there was also a 1 stage in lancaster I would know because i've been there. 0:31
What sucks in seeing all these from 2 years ago is essentially all of them have since been remodeled 😢 Huntington will be gone soon too
I would use the ShowBiz stores' original opening, not the Concept Unification/2.0 reopenings.
I don't put the Original opening dates since It was something completely different before Concept Unification
