As always, your video is so beautiful, educational, awe inspiring, and inspirational! Such a pleasure to watch! Please continue to do what you do. And thank you for your contribution to conservation!
Wooow, what a hotspot! It's so cool to see an episode of the Birder's show filled with birds I'm familiar with as a European birder! Some of them would be lifers for me, too, hoping to see some of them in the near future! :) Thanks for the amazing content as always!
What a beautiful episode again! and a very interesting one. I just thought it was a bit strange to post an episode like this in the current situation without saying anything about the genocide.
I know, I know, and it is a weird and sad situation the world is living these days, but, in my view, it is always been "one thing is one thing, and another thing is another thing" so we want to spread the word of birds, birding, camaraderie, conservation, nature, etc etc... that was what we went to film in Israel back in March 2023 and we don't need to say anything or mention or judge the political/social situation there... glad you enjoy the birds and the episode ;-)
ahhhhh, we also would love longer videos but, more and more we've learned our optimal content videos are short about some 20ish minutes for field episodes, and 40ish for studio sessions... hard to pack everything in such a small amount of time tho... great job our producers/editors/colorists/audiopeople etc etc do!
finally a full episode again. thank you so much! Also a question: how was traveling in Isreal with all the unrest in the area? or where you guys there before the war?
indeed as Didiert (one of our friends and followers) commented here already, we visited in March 2023 attending the birding conservation race Champions of the Flyway (you can watch our episode on that one... a great one!) so we were traveling freely, birding all over the place in the Negev Desert

A lot different form your home patch. I'm in Australia and we spend most of our time inland so the dry country is very familiar.
indeed... not familiar at all for us... all lifers, lifer habitats, amazing birding! very dry very dry!

This was before the war, during the Champions of the Flyway 2023

Great to see you guys together again. Lovely and fun video. Any recommendations for a European bird app?
Collins European bird guide app is the only choice !
indeed as @ @bigfishinlittlebritain9808 commented below, the 3rd edition of COLLINS BIRDGUIDE is the one I ve used... + Merlin always
Amazing video!!
