Morissette wasn't thrilled with this performance and after a brief illness went into the studio to take a shot at recording it. UNBELIEVABLE! PS...worth it for Dave's reactions! Lol
Hi dear, there is an anecdote related to this performance. this generational talent, fresh off the plane with jetlag, came from the US tour and soon after had to perform this song with little rehearsal. this song was new, never rehearsed in public, it hadn't even been recorded in the recording room. the practice that is used throughout the musical world is the recording room first, learning the piece by heart on a mental and mechanical / muscular level and deciding changes and improvements based on the singer's voice and then live. thx for reaction Topher
