I never realized how bad going to meetings was. I was about 10 years old the last time I went to a Kingdom Hall, and the way they treat you is appropriate for a 10 year old.
First we saw her on the picture in the back and now she is there live on a subject that is relevant. She is wonderful, I am so glad Sven found her, please bring her back next time there is a relevant subject.

It's like jw is teaching interplanetary aliens common sense that even low IQ human children possess. I.e., even a mere child knows it wrong for daddy to abuse mommy. What's next? I guess I was very fortunate to become best friends with two sisters who were devoted JW since their mom and grandmom were JW. I met them when we were about 12 years old and became friends in minutes, for some odd reason I was accepted in their home from the first time I went to visite them, they treated me as a familymember and now, 45 years later we are still best friends, one of the sisters still a very devoted JW but the other one fell out in her late teens. I was a regular visitor in their childhood home where their mother and grandmother both lived until they died. We speak very little about religion or politics, we are just friends and travel together and have seen each other's children grow up!

I went to a meeting on my own and an elder came up to me and asked to me about my husband, " I suppose he is active in bed" I was stunned, I thought we were having a great time. Further more, I had no experience with any other man to compare. I am sure stood there with with my mouth open. He walked away.
So I was always a free spirit and was that kid in the audience. I left at 18 but I always felt ashamed of my body when Iwt someone and sex before marriage always made me feel dirty and guilty so I married 4 times because I felt I had to get married before sex. Then my marriage didn't work out because I didn't really know that man very well because I rushed into marriage because you wanted to have sex with them A natural body response when dating. So now I'm 61 years old alone because they never tell you to find someone who makes you happy and laugh or whatever you want because that's not what important to tell the girl before marriage all they told me is find boy who is a JW. That's the only thing you look for and there weren't any boys in our KH because they are all old people. So the first boy at 17 that I found an assembly I married after dating with my brother along to keep us from kissing. So we got married at 17 never kissed and only dated a few months. The day after our honeymoon I wanted to jump out the hotel window because it was awful. Sex was weird not natural, we had a book we looked at before we had sex to see what we can and can't do. It was awful. So I didn't jump out the window because we were going to Disney world for our honeymoon so I thought we'll, after Disney world I'll jump Maybe we have a hotel on a higher floor. But we had fun at Disney world and became friends. Not lovers. We ended best friends and got divorced after 6 years because we were only best friends not the person we wanted to be married to, we just kinda felt like we were brother and sister. And when we both grew up and knew what we wanted we left our life together and that was ok. But we moved far away from the family and stopped going to the meetings so that way we didn't get disfellowshiped because we got divorced. Buty whole entire life I felt guilty to kiss a guy even after I was gone from JW religion that teaching went deep and the shame and guilt was deep even after I left that religion. I spent my entire life totally crazy basically. So no wonder I'm mentally ill. Hahaha. Thank you so much. And I got see your wife more because I absolutely love her.
I am so sorry to hear all of this 😓it's so unfair.. you are SO strong that you had the courage and wisdom at such a young age that something was wrong. Be PROUD of yourself, of what you have had to go through and where you are now! You're not old!! Walk YOUR path, that is your birthright and choose EVERYTHING that makes you happy.
