Announcing forthcoming 'lives' with the Madwitch are interviews I will be doing with people in our pagan, witchy, spiritual community. You don't have to be a witch but if you are I would love to chat to you about your practice. If you are a pagan following your own path, maybe a druid or someone who reads tarot and feels they have a spiritual path please come over and lets chat ...

I think people do equate ‘witch’ with devil worship and evil-doing. I am in the broom closet because of my line of work, I know how detrimental it would be to be ‘out’!

Sitting here in my little corner of the far up north knitting a dwarf listening to your wise and humble words and once again I feel we are all One on a very deep level, our paths may look different (sometimes very, very different) on the surface but so many of us do the same work and often for the same reasons even if how we do that work look different...There is more that connect us when it comes to what really matter than we often realize I think...but when we realize that, we can be free and do not need to protect our own truth by not sitting side by side as we then know we already walk side by side...this world and all life in it need love...and if we for some reason refuse to sit next to each other love is not there and Mother Earth will suffer...(Not easy to explain my thoughts in English, hope you understand)

I think this sounds fabulous I like the idea of celebrating differences in the spiritual community and learning and growing from others. I think this is going to be a great series of lives. I’ll have to watch on playback this Fridays as we are away. Good luck for your first one. Can’t wait to watch.

I agree fully. After an epic journey, I have come full circle back to my beginning. I practiced as a witch when I was younger, and now I'm getting back into it.
I was actually accused of being a witch by someone on here a short while ago. This was from a tarot reader. She went as far as saying, that I could be amongst those witches who are hexing her.....yeah there really are people out there like that.
I have retired recently and I have decided that its time I gave my garden some attention, so I'm up for any suggestions there.

Im sorry to hear a tarot reader is accusing you of hexing, but it seems to take all sorts to make up this colourful world. Im delighted you are getting back into your garden, take it slow and if you are planting enjoy what you plant and maybe just go with perennials to lessen the work load each year. This sounds like a lovely idea. Most of the people I know wouldn’t like the idea that I’m a witch, particularly family and employer, which is too bad. It’s just a different spiritual path. And I agree that there are definitely some commonalities between Buddhism and witchcraft, at least for me.
People are too quick to judge and mostly always misjudged...very sad...thank you for dropping by and saying hi xxx
