Loved the drone footage. Beautiful countryside and fascinating to watch the different patterns the sheep made as they ran hither and yon. Saw a moon almost rise 😳 but the camera cut away. I also enjoyed watching the dalmatian spots show up as you were shearing in the head shots. Wonderful music throughout, Cammy.

I have heard that some farmers place them strategically around their fields to deter deer? Thanks for doing the podcasts, great to see, & interesting commentary. Oops, sorry, forgot, you could have filmed it at a slightly different angle, & included a few sheep interviews, like how they feel about being sheered, etc🤪😂.
Don’t cry, the sea shanty made up for it. Sandy fleece! Long gone are the days when the sheep were put through a sheep wash because the fleece was a valued commodity. I think you deserve more subscribers.

Great vid Cammy. Bought some blackies from there few year back, tremendous sheep. Can relate with the sand problem, my hill swales are always full of peat lol ive found the icon wasnt as hard on cutters and combs in sand as older handpieces though
Gid man! Shearing is always easier when u are doing it every day. The boys that shear their own and just do a few days are always working the hardest so well done!

Cheers Nick. I should have spent some time filming it. It’s basically a hydraulic presss that packs the wool in to square bales much heavier than normal bags. Means less bags to store / transport and when u have 9000 sheep that’s handy!

Cheers bro. It is an Aboriginal Allstars shirt. Like to look cultural on the videos😁. No flat rate here. We don’t have a union like Ozzy has so we set our own rates.

Hi, I personally don't have back problems but I know some people. The boy I shear with most days is 52 and he beats me every day so he would say it's a career for life. U need to keep fit and flexible in the off season I think that's key.

They are longer keep lambs so keeps them clean all winter. Boys reckon they grow better too but i’m not sure on that!

They were strong sheep! Not sure if the handpiece helps but a newer handpiece will run better i suppose!

Here in the UK, they do like you to put the belly wool in the fleece it shows a complete fleece when being graded at the depot.
