I like switches, or at least a form to change the tuning in a noticeable way, so on the rare occasion of someone asking me for recommendations they get some flexibility, Instead of crying over a possible loss
I’m glad Kris you are referencing the Olina in your reviews as it dose help me and I am sure other watcher of your channel to benchmark the current IEM you are reviewing. I too am looking for other IEM’s from Topping.
Ayoo, that spider graph is a nice addition to the review. It's like a quick overview and comparison. Is the whole black spider part a reference to your sound preferences or simply the smallest value/point in each reference points?
So much competition at more affordable brackets is getting out of control but great for the new comers and honestly is still exiting finding good cheaper sets. Have a great week !!!
I think of filters, switches, etc. on iems as kinda like the headrests on cars. You adjust it the first time you use it then set it to where you feel most comfortable. Really love the look and color. How were the cables by the way?
For their first ever release, this seems good enough. And glad to hear that the switches works well. I hope they keep on making IEMs, for better and hopefully for cheaper so it can compete with more of its peers. If anything else, I love the color on the caps for this one.
That's why I like your reviews: it's about the music/ library. My library is kind of similar to yours with the exception of classical. It makes it so easy for me to imagine how the playback of a song sounds due to your reviews. On the topic of switches: I just set it once and be done with it. Thanks for the review. As always appreciated.
As my first thought was: they played it safe with this set. Not THAT outstanding, not that of an underperformer. I wonder what they will come up with in the future! Thanks for the review!
Glad to see Topping in the game, For me I have enough single DD offerings, so, this config for me would have to be special, like you, looking forward to Toppings future!
A good quality DD set at $129 is pushing it, I agree. What makes the set interesting is the hook of finding the right combo of switches to really dial in your preference if they can do it. Definitely something to think about. Thanks Chris for as always straight talk, you're absolutely correct in it's all about the music. Take care and God Bless...
Interesting to see they are making IEMs, too, now. By the way, what's going on with ZiiGaat x HBB: Arcadia? Is this for real? It's a hybrid, after all. The graph that's been posted seems to follow your target pretty closely.
Nice looking set. Single DD's can get the job done! I tried the Sivga Que at CamJam, with a single Beryllium DD and it's fantastic at $69, so I bought it.
Seems like a decent set.... I agree with you, those switches seem like a good idea, but I don't think anyone is going to keep switching them around ... Maybe companies should just release a model with 4 or 5 variations in tuning, so people can choose what they want, but without switches.....
As a Halloween enjoyer, thank you for the spider graph It is interesting to see established companies branch into new product categories and see whag they cook up
I was on Linsoul a couple days ago thinking "If I look at what's for sale will I see a bunch of random and daringly designed sets with zero community review/knowledge like was the case 4 years ago or so" and I was pleasantly surprised by how many odd/strange/unheard of sets there were for sale. This obviously is pretty plain Jane design wise, but it was one of the ones I spotted that hit the "Who is this? Have they made anything else? Is it any good?" criteria. Wild that it turns out to be the rumored Topping set! Ahh just realized this is different to the unboxing video I watched earlier. The full review! I'll check it out later today.
I thought I was the only person who liked the Gizaudio Chopin over all the other Gizaudio collaborations. Yes, even better than DaVinci. 💯 Also this set looks to be promising.
I think im going to grab the ApegEar Hane, along with the Truthear Nova. I was going to buy the Hexa, but i could easily eq the Hane within 1-2db boost margins to match it while getting a better looking iem. So then I can have a dead on jm1 set and Harman set for when i want to cleanse my pallette.
Given the main products that Topping is known for, I'm willing to bet that IF the market response to this IEM is positive enough, we will also be seeing Topping's first head-phone. ...that and most likely a 2nd IEM model.
Seems like it's tuned to cater to many, but not all (bass lovers like me will probably not be amazed by it), tastes. At that price point there are many IEMs to choose from...
I don't what makes these brands venture into something otside of their area of expertise. I mean, diversifying their production might make sense and they will improve with time... But, I think they are better of doing things they specialize in. Thank you so much for the video and everything else!
Was supposed to be September but Fatfreq was delayed a couple times. hbbdatabase.github.io/index.html?share=Bad_Guy_2022_Target,Pro_X it's not a Simgot obviously but i hide collabs under aliases so need to update that right now ;)
Stiff competition at that price point. These look interesting, but that price is a bit much for 1 dd. I understand having switches on a multi driver IEM, but on a DD it seems like overkill.
I think we're too used to expecting every new IEM release to be "I'd buy it" tier and above. Just the fact that topping was able to come out with something that compares with it's competitor is an achievement and, if anything, makes it a decent pick up
The market is way too competitive for a performance like this to be attractive, I think. But nice to see another big brand keep the other brands on their toes 👍
I like switches, or at least a form to change the tuning in a noticeable way, so on the rare occasion of someone asking me for recommendations they get some flexibility, Instead of crying over a possible loss
I use em once and move along. The filter modules (64 audio/Fatfreq) are more practical for me
I’m glad Kris you are referencing the Olina in your reviews as it dose help me and I am sure other watcher of your channel to benchmark the current IEM you are reviewing.

Really love the look and color. How were the cables by the way?
Thanks for the review. For that price is better to buy 2-3 cheaper sets with different tunings instead?
For their first ever release, this seems good enough. And glad to hear that the switches works well. I hope they keep on making IEMs, for better and hopefully for cheaper so it can compete with more of its peers. If anything else, I love the color on the caps for this one.

Topping IEMs feel like a fever dream :P. So excited!
Took my oxygen on vacation last weekend. Such a great driver. May have to bust out my olina today!
🦷Mr Tooth🦷 Hope the fam is doing good. 02 is a classic🪥
Another good set, and it's getting so the listener can be very specific with what they're looking for to match their library.
As my first thought was: they played it safe with this set. Not THAT outstanding, not that of an underperformer. I wonder what they will come up with in the future!

Seems like a solid option dig the tuning and flexibility. The ear gain for me seems on point.

Blessings to you as well
I love them switches. It always allows me to get different flavours and not stick to the same thing. Thank you for the review!
Nice point about the dip switches. I think I would probably not adjust them once I found my preferred setting.
Ok, it Graphs pretty nice!! another good option for people to choose, but way to many dipswitches for me…
A good first effort to be competitive in this price range, I hope they continue to refine their sets. Thank you for the review.
Interesting to see they are making IEMs, too, now. By the way, what's going on with ZiiGaat x HBB: Arcadia? Is this for real? It's a hybrid, after all. The graph that's been posted seems to follow your target pretty closely.
Interesting to see where topping goes after this. Seems like a good start.
Market is ultra competitive. I'm sure some will love this. I'm looking forward to other offerings
I am happy to see Topping moving out into the IEM territory. The Hane looks like a good entry point for them in already a very competitive market.
This looks like a good start for topping, looking forwards to their future releases.
I really love the design on these, the letters on the back kinda makes it look a little funky though.
Iem with switch, at this budget range is kinda rare. I appreciate the covering of unique iem. Keep it up.👍
Castor?
Always appreciate you using music to illustrate. Something that an awful lot of reviewers lack.
Turbo useful in my opinion
Dip switches on a single driver seems weird. Makes more sense if you want to cut out a driver or enable one.
Nice looking set. Single DD's can get the job done! I tried the Sivga Que at CamJam, with a single Beryllium DD and it's fantastic at $69, so I bought it.
Oh...I think I better buy that! Beryllium you say
Thanks. With Peers like the Olina SE and Chopin, this set is in a pretty elite group.
Pretty decent set at a decent price for Topping's first set. Thanks for the review!
Topping makes fine DACs and amps. Still, I was skeptical about them moving into IEMs. It seems they're making a decent effort.
I think I prefer switches instead of screw in nozzles which you can lose. Looks like it sounds decent too, so nice!
Cool seeing Topping releasing a set, but i think the price point is really just extra competitive. The EW300 is half the price for example.
Seems like a decent set.... I agree with you, those switches seem like a good idea, but I don't think anyone is going to keep switching them around ... Maybe companies should just release a model with 4 or 5 variations in tuning, so people can choose what they want, but without switches.....

Seems like a worthy addition, and at least it's from a company with a track record of bringing value products to market.
how does the fittings on the ears? is it great? seems good looking sets..
Fit is quite good. No probs there
Olina SE is not played out, but I agree, the price puts some great sets in the neighborhood.
I'm a fan of the dip switches. More companies should offer them.
Seems like good start. Let's see what they release next.
Not a bad start for a very first IEM. Looking forward to their other releases.
I'm excited to see what kind of iems they'll come up with in the future and what their 200-400 usd sets are gonna sound like
i imagined Toppings showing would be more nuetral. Topping dacs and amps are pretty decent, hope they bring the same care into their iems.
Are you still going to review aful explorer or did you return that set to timmy?
Yo, actually doesn’t look horrible at all. The bass profile is something I can get down with.
I never really liked having to mess the IEM's, but I would not mind trying it out...
What I think I like the most is the name of the brand behind this set... probably QC and QA will be consistent
I thought I was the only person who liked the Gizaudio Chopin over all the other Gizaudio collaborations. Yes, even better than DaVinci. 💯 Also this set looks to be promising.
Seems like a good first effort. Also not a fan of switches and agree with your thoughts about them. Thanks for a great review as always. Peace.
I prefer inter-changeable nozzles such as the EA500 but even then I found the nozzle I preferred and never changed it.
Haven’t had a switch IEM set yet. Like the touch of the spider graph.
Gotta agree with you on the filters, just because I'm too clumsy to switch back and forth. 😂
I like the Idea of switches, but just let you said I would probably find the tuning I like and just leave it.
I do really like the look of them. They're just in a very competitive price range
Love their amplifiers. I hope their earphones are just as good!
I have not tried a dip switch iem before.... this seems like a good entry point. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the review exciting to see topping enter the IEM market, have a good one Buddy
Interesting. I don’t have any of Topping’s products. Is this the first non-dac product of theirs?
Budget stuff been really good lately, interesting to see a new player
nice addition to an already crowed prize range.Weirdly, No mention from topping on the linsoul page .
Given the main products that Topping is known for, I'm willing to bet that IF the market response to this IEM is positive enough, we will also be seeing Topping's first head-phone.
...that and most likely a 2nd IEM model.
Herd topping got into the item market, interesting review wasn’t on my radar but sounds interesting. I love my Chopin Timmy genius work 🙂
Good Review but what happend to your unbox vid from Today it just not there anymore 🤔
Seems like it's tuned to cater to many, but not all (bass lovers like me will probably not be amazed by it), tastes. At that price point there are many IEMs to choose from...
Love my Topping Dacs, would like to try them with the Hane !!!
Seems like a okay set for the price. Good to seem them entering the market ..
I don't what makes these brands venture into something otside of their area of expertise. I mean, diversifying their production might make sense and they will improve with time... But, I think they are better of doing things they specialize in.
Thank you so much for the video and everything else!
Excited to see what topping can do in a new market
Another player on the game. Always welcome. Us consumers win.
More options the better. Competition is the engine for innovation and price wars
Interesting graph it's kinda similar to tuning that I want, looks like I should get this asap
Thank you for the recomendations, It seems like a set that would fit my ear 👌🏽
I look forward to see what they bring out in the future
Same, looks like a brand controlled by Topping but named different.
Linsoul is giving away an HBB Ziigaat collab!?! When did that collab happen?
Was supposed to be September but Fatfreq was delayed a couple times. hbbdatabase.github.io/index.html?share=Bad_Guy_2022_Target,Pro_X it's not a Simgot obviously but i hide collabs under aliases so need to update that right now ;)
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews right on target, eh!?!
@@Dr.Dan_K Yes, first shot at DD+BA
Great price point for a decent spider graph! Thanks for sharing!
A chopin with extra switch options sounds like an easy recommendation
Quick turn around!!!!
Yes…thanks HBB
not sure i would have the patience for dip switches. thanks for doing this for us.
We'll see if Topping can keep up of their IEM Quality compared to their Amps and DACs
I wonder how much the BOM was increased by adding the switches. I think for a single driver $129 is a bit high.
Stiff competition at that price point. These look interesting, but that price is a bit much for 1 dd. I understand having switches on a multi driver IEM, but on a DD it seems like overkill.
looks fine with dip switches, a rare thing at this price range
Gotta love those changes in tuning for the same iem
ありがとうございます! Thank you!!! I love you!!!
Nice new set!! im a fan of the shell design.
Cool look, weird name, so and so tuning. It's hard to compete in that price range with a new product right now :P
Thanks for another review... So many to chose from...
Lots of overlap in tuning these days. I love the Chopin, also.
We always welcome more competition on the sub $150 price range
Yup, keep em coming
Nice review! I didn't know they made IEMS 😮
I think we're too used to expecting every new IEM release to be "I'd buy it" tier and above. Just the fact that topping was able to come out with something that compares with it's competitor is an achievement and, if anything, makes it a decent pick up
Decent entry into the IEM space by Topping by the sound of it
I am very sad…every new video reminds me that I am still waiting for the Deuce. I am really hyping like crazy for that set..! 👀
Would wait after a few more releases before buying. Hopefully they will be in the game for years to come
Not really a fan of the switches, I just set it and forget it, unnecessary feature. It looks fine tho
If it had a little more tac in the bass and e little less 1000-2000hz it would be a masterpiece.I Hope they refine it
The market is way too competitive for a performance like this to be attractive, I think. But nice to see another big brand keep the other brands on their toes 👍
