Step 1: Don't use triple C Assist
Step 2: Don't use double C Assist
Step 3: If you don't follow step 1 or 2, learn confirms and combos nerd
Like Lotus says: "baby combos"
Atleast stick to the alphabet is my credo.
I always played with Gogeta blue (main) C assist, but I use at maximum only 1 C assist per team.
I really idk why new players buy at least 3 DLCs characters to just do senseless combos like: Autocombo + C assist + Autocombo...EVERYTIME (with triple C assists obviously)
I only use Hits C assist, I use gt Brolys B assist and Goku blacks A assist ( beam )
@@imortaljooj Because it's easy to do and guaranteed to work. I've used the same team forever (KBuu, Bluegeta and Cell) and never looked back once C assists were introduced.

I'm honestly learning so much about the game by watching your videos. Layering and holding the vanish buttons to stop the attack is something i honestly didn't know about and it gives me more to think about with the assists I use. Neutral and assist use are definitely things I want to practice more.

I've been playing since day one. But this is all great info to be reminded of. I play too many characters, so calling assists in the wrong place/time is one of my biggest weaknesses.
lol yeah it's funny how the basics can slip your mind over time!
@@MisterAcolyte I competed the most in season 2 when I was running Bardock pount with Cell and SSJ beams behind him. So like, not much strategy needed back then haha. Been breaking old habits in a lot of ways since.

Great guide man, imma try to save more of my assist for intercepting wake ups instead of extending literally any combo I land. It might be what's holding me back after all two touch is the name of the game and it's just not practical to just go for the combo that does the most damage 🤔.

As a Gamer I have only play dragon ball fighterZ as my only main fighting game I’m only good at. I am trying marvel vs Calvin 2 and my ! I noticed the assist there work similar! I love how you can use your arsenal of knowledge from one fighting game onto a different one.

Actually what should you do if the opponent does the universal escape mechanic (the new vanish one)? Do you just delay the move you think theyll use it and wait or are there better ways to go at it?

Hey Aco I’m watching your guides and I’d say for me I’d love a guide on safe jumps 😭 Idky that’s a problem for me. For example after a sliding knockdown in the corner. Also idky but there’s times when I try to 2M5M then forward jump but it comes out as 6M 😩
I got you covered! As for the 2m5m > 6M, that means you're doing the input too fast! you gotta slow it down a bit!

I'd been falling into some bad habits with one of my teams lately, as I'd been using fullscreen assists like Janemba A and SBroly B.
Yesterday I was calling Roshi B as I sat fullscreen away, and Yamcha A kept getting poked out by ki blasts.
I'll start practicing my get-up coverage today. Thanks for the great guide, Aco!

it's bound to my bumper, it's just displayed there so viewers can see it.
