Flexibility/mobility is the most neglected fitness category. Thank you for the video, and waiting for more content on this topic, not just related to pre and post run routines. Shoulder mobility indeed, as it was mentioned here, improves your breathing efficacy, not just posture.
These are great. I did not know what to do after running, so I will now do these. I actually saw this video right after returning from a 10 mile run. So I did these and now feel pretty good. Thanks!
Can I suggest to GTN editing team, - on the top left side of the video, place the name of location of where there being filmed. Always absolutely beautiful locations - have no idea where it is 😅 Favorite cooldown stretch - I don't know this is the actual name of the stretch "greatest stretch in the world" 😅 deep lung reach opposite hand reaches below and through the bent leg and reverse back and twist and reach hand to the sky.. Keep up the great content I always enjoy running advice slow becoming a triathlete 😅 (just started biking for 1 month 1x week its been a game changed)
Those are stretches I do but my favorite is go to High plank, bring right foot to right hand area (outside position) and plant your foot there. Of course repeat for other side.
When I was young I always stretched after runs but now, aged 58, I only do a couple of very light calf and hamstring stretches and no static stretches at all. I suppose the 'elastic bands' get less elastic as we age and if not careful nasty things can happen.
Excellent videography, nice presentation, short and to the point. Well-done, by the way, where was this recorded? Looks breathtaking, specially the view of the bay.
Use stick before . Slow warm up jog, then warm up walk, then run workout , then slow down jog , then warm down walk. Use stick after . Been running since 1985 and healthy and injury free at 66 yrs young

GTN: Hey boss, we need to go to a beach in Greece to film this video.
Boss: Can it be filmed somewhere closer?
GTN: Absolutely not.
Super simple stuff! Thanks for that! 😘
Didn't know the bit about shifting the knee to target the lower calf - thanks!
Very helpful! Thanks for sharing🤗
This one calls for a stretching vs no stretching video 😊
Awesome! Definitely will use these, especially shoulders as so often neglected!!
Glad you like them!
Great ideas and well presented. GTN is tops, “all stuff no fluff”. Others would have made this video 26 minutes.
These are great😊😊
Dynamic stretches feel so much better on the joints and muscles, especially after a tough workout.

Thanks guys.
My legs are always awful after a run (mainly because I'm a terrible runner), and I've been trying to get some decent post run stretches.
Good video, however I would add quad stretch 🙂

Thanks for this information, this is what I was looking for🌷🌷🌹🌹🌹🌹🌷🌷
Glad it was helpful!
Would you recommend a particular order to do these in?
Enlightening. It never occurred to me to stretch afterwords
What about Triceps
❤
I don't believe in stretching
As always heather is still my favorite presenter no offense to my guys. Love you heather ❤❤
Mate. Lose the love hearts. It’s not a dating site. Show admiration for her presenting - but no more.
