Man this is so cool! Not the fact that ya got a tame deer coming to ya.The fact that you’re educating your son and teaching him the right way of how to treat animals…
This is why its illegal to pick up wildlife and raise it people need to stop with this they have places that will raise fawns to be wild and returned to there habitats aka the wild
I don't shoot any deer besides old bucks. 6 or older. The coyotes keep the population in check. I had one that was a pet come up to me years ago when I was bowhunting and back then i shot plenty of does. I didn't even try to shoot this one however. I had caught it as a fawn while combining wheat. The landowners wife kept it and raised her up. I was going to let her go. I have moved several out of the way and took them to the edge of the field where mom was usually pacing around nervous over a big combine spooking her away from her baby. Despite what Disney says picking up a baby deer or whatever doesn't cause the mom to abandon the baby deer or whatever. At least I have never seen that happen. We have a raccoon now that was apparently a pet. She'll come up and eat out of our hands. One of her babies finally did back in October. They have left like they do every year . She's been coming up for 4 years now.
Unfortunately at 200 yards nobody is going to recognize it's a virtually tame deer. So really can't blame anyone for shooting her during season. Would be unfortunate she's a cool animal.
@@garybarnes176 are you being serious? I hope you are being sarcastic.... deer are wild animals, NOT PETS!! they do not need tracking collars on them to "help" them if they get stuck,.. and stuck in what anyways? a fence? they dont need our help, they are wild.
She would be my BEST FRIEND during the rut.

I have seen trail cam pics of her during deer season. In which she had an orange vest on lol.
@BackwoodsBonding Lol well a full orange body suit would definitely help!
@@keithharrold7262 HAHA For sure.
people who put collars on deer are ignorant!! good grief.
I feel like it’s pretty genius to me one of them is a tracking collar too so if she gets stuck they can find her
People that complain about tame deer having a collar are Karen's,
Forfucksakes, stop bitchin
