I have an outdoor earthworm bin for various reasons, mainly for ducklings. These things popped up in it and I didn't know what they were. I was honestly scared they were some kind of crazy flesh eating bot fly or something like it. I decided to look them up and see if they were edible for my duck. OMG they have become her favorite thing to eat. I can't raise them fast enough! I think its the fat content. These juicy larvae have so much good fat, they do alot to round out any diet.
I'm pretty sure as soon as you have plenty of soldier fly larvae, those fruit flies will go away. That has been my experience even with the house flies.

One larvae will consume 0.4 Grm( dry) waste in there life span
2500 kg waste of organic.. If you want to buy eggs if you want to buy bsf eggs it's available
