    Your beginning image of the chamber seems to show a carbon ring or, at least, the beginnings of one. Your final images of the bore appear to be after it was cleaned. Sufficient fouling for best accuracy seems to differ from rifle to rifle. Some of the fellows I shoot against will burn a full box - or more - "seasoning" their bore. I generally find that 10 ~ 15 works in mine. Then again, they beat me often so maybe I should use more. LOL

      I didn't label it, but the first bore scope view is before Lapua. So, after the Eley with early carbon ring and into the barrel from the breech end. The second bore scope view is the same run, closer toward the muzzle end. I found it interesting what appears to be the slight variance in residue. 🤔
