That observation about who knows their blood type was fascinating... I must confess, even as a nurse in the U.S., I am only 95% sure I know my blood type, because it's not on our driver's license or birth certificate or anything. We would have to refer to our medical records as well and just remember the answer, we don't have an offical document to prove it or anything. I do always remember whatever I am, I am "positive" though, as well as each of my 3 siblings, because my mom, who is rh negative and has a massive needle phobia, complaining about having to get "the shots" each pregnancy made that part unforgettable 💀💀💀
Also, are blood drives and donating blood not very common in Britian?? They are in the U.S., even work places will organize one for the "good PR". One may be more likely to recall their blood type if they're reminded every time they donate blood, especially if they're found to be a universal donor or have a rare protein or something, because then I am sure the American Red Cross emails them every day reminding them how great it is when they donate 🩸🩸😅😅
