i'm totally fine with that shield system, it gives some impact to positioning and teamplay, you are not just automatically fragged by a best aimer than you or a cheater, it's not a game where you come and solo everyone.
it is indeed a boring thing about apex, respawn made a great change to the shields at the start of season 6, but due to crying babies from the internet respawn didnt took long to cancel the changes and put body shields back to op mode.
The shields are fine right now and better than they were last year. The dude is saying that it shouldn't take that long to break shields. And I also watched his movement and choices, he was not great at the game

He is referring to the low skillgap, not the shields in general. Back then Apex had a greater high-risk high-reward meta, Peacekeepers used to one hit for example. Apex meta loadout then was Peacekeeper and Wingman, two high skill weapons. Today its just volt and Spitfire, two guns that aren't that strong but exceptionally easy to use.
@@DeMoNDe-ViL Compared to other smgs, the volt is in fact way easier to use. Im talking about mag size, damage, recoil pattern. Spitfire has a BIG mag, low recoil solid damage. I'm playing on Console aswell
Ranked is a mess, back in season 3 I could get up to diamond in solos. And that was without Master rank then. Everyone is so sweaty because the learning curve is so much easier to figure
You can literally one clip people/ kill people fast if you have skilled and sustained aim. I feel like it takes much more skill playing apex than say cod. Even just knowing when to heal and when not to heal or fighting it out with the hp you have. Or using movement/ character abilities. There’s A LOT more fast decision making. You don’t get killed by a few bullets walking in a doorway from someone just staring at it. And I’ve played cod since cod 4. I think anyone that trashes apex is just bad at the game lol. Doc is literally dog shit at apex
But don’t get it twisted, I love doc though and wish he practiced this game enough to understand it and be good at it. I feel like he’d need to play with some apex pros. I also have always loved cod but I feel like apex fast paced gun play is unmatched
@@aldysyahputra6967 For me its easy but maybe because I'm considered a pro idk what falls under pro Apex is unpredictable when it comes to fights one minute your fighting one squad the next your having to fight 3 others or your looting deatboxes and boom people start shorting at you. Apex players do be kinda agressive though especially the ones who have played for a long time. And even with the basics evo shields it takes a few shot to actually down them
