"I can sell more windchimes" !!! Windchimes. She makes and then sells windchimes. That would never occur to me as home money maker. Wind. Chimes. She might do better if she diversified her craft and started producing kaleidoscopes and thumb pianos as well

It's kinda scary how money can change people from a nice person to a cold blooded serial killer.
No it was only some special tree story ;)
Not actually the money but the way our society is strongly based on it. A man who was about to lose his land and witnessed his mother killing herself because of that could tell how much money means. Regardless of all the moralistic speeches, without money people are nothing. The homeless people are the living proof of that.
Something has to be on the money that does that.

The couple of former serial killers I know don't put people away for money. They just enjoy their hobby and absorb out-of-pocket costs themselves.
Wow; what a story! The real horror of this tale when you let it sink in is that this guy will have to kill any and everybody who finds out about this tree. What a burden to carry for the rest of his life!! Great post guys!
great story line and concept. Loved it. I'm getting addicted to all these high quality horror/sci-fi shorts. Beats wasting 2 precious hours watching crap big budget formulaic horror movies. Excellent!

I have an apartment in Los Angeles and can testify that you would need a money tree factory to afford to live here. I can only do it because it's a studio and I eat beans and rice and a 15 year old car.

I believe his father killed his mother, coz of the same reason, some over-rich oil businessman wanna buy their property and home;.. yet this is another story, that needs a whole chapter for its own.
Man, this is great! You guys & gals did a fantastic job! I agree with others, why doesn’t this have more views! It’s certainly deserving of it. A few years ago, I found a plethora of foreign horror and action movies superior to a lot of Hollywood’s crap. I feel the majority of the horror shorts I watch are in the same boat as the foreign stuff. Just as good as Hollywood, stuff, or better. Keep it up, everyone!

I was thinking in the same vein! But if the vet puts a pet down it's usually cremated. Most official pet cemeteries have ashes buried.
Possibly because he needs the money NOW ... and even a newly opened free cemetery might take time to even the first 'customer' in ...
They're usually drained of blood and replaced with embalming fluid, so it wouldn't work. It needs blood. I just really wish he hadn't killed that poor dog, though. 😔

This is too much tragic n disturbing how a human turns into a monster for greed. Blood, gore, horror, brutality...... Wht a horrible real picture of world it is! I couldn't hold my tears seeing he even din't spare innocent animals too😭

This. This was fabulous. EXCELLENT retelling of those hair raising folk tales about magic trees, fish, etc. Or even "The Monkey's Paw". Sad. Tragic. And very very human. Those actors were superb. The direction was EXCELLENT! HE KILLED HIS OWN DOG!!! VERY well done. Loved it. And also loved the moral of the story as well.

When I was a kid, there was this tree in the backyard that bleed real blood when I broke it's branches. I'm going to research that paranormal experience now.

It does. I once heard a story where a poor guy realizes every tear he sheds turns into a pearl. The story ends with him sitting on a mountain of pearls with his dead wife in one hand and a bloodied knife in the other.
They say that the love of money is the root of all evil, but this tree is pure evil!
The love of money isn't the root of all evil, but close. GREED is the root of all evil, for humans at least.
This tree was demonic, it 'fed' on the selfishness of the family.
