    rather than adding on, the real value add would probably be to reconfigure the super, super inefficient layout.

  • @valeriehopkins644
    @valeriehopkins644 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Definitely different. All those stairs I feel like I missed a section. I'd make that bedroom back into a bedroom. Use the area to the front of the kitchen as dining. Call it a non conforming bedroom. Don't have to be a kid to find it fascinating.

    I have never liked Bi, Tri ore quad level homes. To many stairs! But the house and yard are beautiful and it will be just right for someone.

    So dam cool!
    I'd turn the dining room back to a bedroom for sure.
    I've certainly never seen anything like it guests would need a floor plan map!
    Tipsy guests...well your stuffed basically... 😂
    As an asthmatic those stairs look a challenge to be fair.
    I care for my mum she has a stair lift where would you start in a house like that .It would have so many stair lifts it be like the rides at Disney Land.
    Still if you ask would I like to own a house like this,,of course I'd say yes it screams excitement,endless possibilities and a quality of life I could only dream of!

    I love unique layouts! I live in a 4-level split & really like it. Much more interesting than the open newer builds.
    This one was very cool but so few bedrooms is a definite downside! Someone with vision & money could make this a great house.

    Great house for kids to play hide and seek game with all the stairs to escape the tagger. Nice size garage space.

    Thanks for letting us be looky-loos on this house. It would be fun if you could follow up when somebody buys it to see how they might reconfigure it!

    Very weird house. There are so many exterior doors, that it would fray my nerves when it came to security and keeping them all locked. It would take you 30 minutes just to check each door before going to bed at night. This house reminds me of the infamous Winchester mansion. Lots of stairs and hallways going nowhere, rooms with no real purpose.

    This a very interesting house for sure. There are some funky stuff. That room that has the soft of cubby room should be the master suite hands down.

    That’s my Powerball house. Replace that railing and add a closet and that room that opened to the yard could be a great bedroom. The brick bar room would be the man cave. I saw football games being watched in there. That yard is beautiful in bloom but a good Christmas snow would be epic.

    I've seen at least ONE of these rabbit warrens in my life (which, admittedly, had more legal bedrooms) but just as many staircases! This would make a wonderful extended family home for some fortunate Mother Hubbard! 👍👏🖖🙏🇨🇦

    This reminds me of a house you posted a few years ago and was actually the first video I watched of yours that got me hooked to your channel. That weird choppy house that was close to the busy highway. I just can't wrap my head around why there are all those random staircases. But it is a nice property for sure thanks for the tour.

      @@investfourmore Y know, that place would be great for a camp program... name each area fun names, the kids sleep on cots or the floor in bad weather, in tents when it's nice, for any overnights, and staff could take the actual bedrooms.

  • @redneckbryon

    It's definitely interesting, I like the way the garage is set up and the separate staircase going to the mechanical room, that would definitely help if you were having service done on equipment.
    I think one problem is when a lot of people renovate, they don't think about the future, since it's not necessarily relevant at the time
    I know I have definitely been a bit guilty of that when renovating.

    Loved the house. As you say, it has ton of potential. It is also an "Estate Sale"; that "missing hand rail" over a brick floor and finding all the "missing pieces" in the shed, may tell much about how that estate sale came about. Sad- the home looks well kept up for a long time. FR

    I would get rid of that addition on the back and convert the dining room in do a bedroom with the attached bath and put an addition or use part of the old addition for a new master bath giving you two master bedrooms. This house is very interesting. Iove split levels/split entrys and old houses with additions. I wish this house was near me!. I would take out a loan and purchase it.

  • @forfoxsake7972
    @forfoxsake7972 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    That addition next to the master bedroom - do you know why they added it, what purpose the room had when the seller lived in it? It seems so random and kind of unusable.
    Very interesting floor plan overall and with a bit of creative thinking you could really turn this into a good family home. Thanks for taking the time to show us the property :)

  • @rutkmi
    @rutkmi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for this tour Mark. When that addition was put on, it seems maybe they didn't think it through that well. They cut off the windows for 2 bedrooms, to get just another family or sunroom? Doesn't seem like a good enough tradeoff.

    I like it. I like that it is not a Cookie Cutter Home like so many are. It has potential. The Kitchen is Beautiful. The Porperty is nice. All those trees. I like multi level Homes.

    So many safety handles that look like towels bars mounted sideways ! lol Paint and carpet would do the place wonders ! The chopped up layout is whats going to turn buyers off ! Offer $500 k and turn it into an adult care home ?

  • @arishem555

    Interesting idea. Curious why they elevate it. My understanding is that they wanted to have an almost full-functional basement with daylight, - but didn't want 2 story house. Another idea is that in case of a flood first floor will always still dry no matter what and only the basement should be fixed.

    My late elderly neighbors had a garage that was about 20x 60 approx with a carport on the back . He started collecting 1920s cars in the mid 60s, and a 55&56 Thunderbirds.
    Nice large house, but don't think my knees would like all those levels , I like flat 1 level house's now

    thats horrible.... split level i think is the term you're looking for.. thats when the house has half height staircases and the levels of the home intersect... you could easily throw 100k at that house and it would still need work.. the only good thing about it to me is the garage and then i don't like the garage door layout. I would never buy that
