To me only important thing is maximum safety i just wonder should i buy alpinestars gp pro r4 or supertech gloves or dainese full metal 7.. Also i want to use in winter for rainy days too. I don't expect it to stay completely dry, but I don't want the gloves to be damaged for long use. Im waiting for ur answers please
I tried full metal 7, they were so stiff it made me think I wouldn’t be able to access controls. Went with Racer High Speed, waiting for them to arrive
I just got the sedici gloves-same ones from the video yesterday. Man oh man.. they are fantastic in feel. I checked the Seams before I bought because there were quality complaints or rather quality inconsistency on sedici gloves. Ya for the price they are the best.
I REALLY wanted to like Sedici Corsa gloves but they were too bulky. I couldn't feel the handlebars like I wanted to. I went with the Alpinestars SP8 V2. Side note: the Sedici race jackets are too bulky and too short in the arms for me. 6'3" 170 lol. I went with Alpinestars' jacket as well. I went with the GP Plus R V3 leather jacket.
I started out with some Sedici Castro gloves, and they held up for a few years of daily riding. They’re still going, but have been relegated to scooter duty. I’d expect similar longevity out of the gauntlet gloves.
1:50 so should I choose the size small that fit like a glove on my hand vs a medium which was a bit more comfortable? Tape measure showed my palm widest part is 8,2/12 inches.
alpinestars seams come apart huh lol glad you said something been looking on getting some new gear and was looking at alpinestar. I like to keep my gear for 4-5 years or longer if posable excluding gloves cus they ware out. But if the seams are going to start coming apart on there suits, jacket and pants well then ima go with a different brand. assuming on what you said here is true ima have to do some research on that.
Its not tolerable for motorcycle gesr to have stitching issues. Especially from a brand like alpinestars. I was going to buy the sp8air, but since i'm racing, i wont
I got some old sedici gloves like 12 years ago and they still look good! They were like $30-$40ish back then.

The sedici corsa gauntlets have survived my monster hands so far 👌

It's the velcro that I always have problems with.
Had to return some Alpinestar SP-8 V3 bc of stitching issues. Still love them and they were only $100.
