Loved your beautiful videos two Sailings! ❤️ On "Glamping.. vs Army Field Camping Video" I learned we were stationed in Germany same time as you two.. We were there when Berlin Wall came Down.. ( on a Joint Exercise at the time / Ramstein)... I was DA Civilian/ and Army Reserve serving as as Individual Mobilization Augmentee....Hubby was Active Duty Army..We PCSd to Atlanta Ga Jan 1990.. perhaps tmi...I will email y'all.. Great Videos.. Wonderful Travels.. Narration and Music 🎶 so Awesome... Karen and Doug!!
Small World!! I transfered-DA Civ..to HQ FORSCOM.. til Retirement in 2007.. Hubby PCSd/Active Duty to Ft. Gillem...later moved to Ft. McPherson.. Retired fm Army.. Finished as DA Civilian.. We Both fully retired from it all July 1, 2007.....Live in same home, Riverdale.. We did a Lot of Traveling after retirement.. never a cruise....... It worked out we could leave HQ USAREUR.. same time and get back to USA to continue careers.. Never Easy.. Grateful and Blessed!!😊
Just want to add for those in The Villages who may be out and about on Sunday 10/29 that from 2-3pm the village of St. Johns will be having it's 2nd annual Halloween golf cart parade which starts in the Levi & Boaz neighborhood of St. Johns where we live and will head up to Brownwood for cart judging. We had 80 golf carts that participated last year snd expect more carts to participate this year. Want to give a shout out to St. Johns resident Ruth Ann Myers for coordinating this event which again should be great fun.
We’ve heard that 90% of the Villagers have been vaccinated. So is this the spiked protein capital of the world now? More shedding than golf carts? We’re still planning to move there but are to waiting for the mass exodus of home owners so house shopping will be more plentiful. See you when we get there! 😊
Not sure about vaccination rates, but home sales have trended down a little bit. Nevertheless, they are still building like crazy and people keep buying.

I'm sure we have served in many of the same places. We lived in Peachtree City in the early 90s. I was at Ft McPherson and then Ft Gillem.

I was on the FORSCOM G3 EOD staff in 1993-94 and then moved over to FT Gillem when the 52D EOD Group was formed.
