Morocco 2021 #2 - Foum Zguid, Iriki, Erg Chegaga, Oasis Sacred, M'Hamid

Boucle to Morocco in November 2021, with much uncertainty and after three postponements due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we managed to return, in a Fly&Drive model due also to the closure of the land border with Spain.
This 150 kms stage, took 6h to cover, 4h of travel and 2h of stops, it starts in Foum Zguid, at the beautiful Bab Rimal Hotel, passing through the town where we buy diesel and some groceries, and we set off towards the first objective, the track of the fabulous dry Lake Iriki, later, and after crossing an fantastic expedition trucks, we cross the track of dunnetes and dunes that skirts the Erg Chegaga and stop for lunch at the Sagrad Oasis. Here we had a request from a local resident, a tour guide out of work for many months due to Covid, to give him a lift to M'Hamid where he was to take the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, a request we could not deny. And so after lunch we headed 40km to M'Hamid, where the wind picked up and created a small sandstorm. In M'Hamid we were able to leave our guest and buy a new cooker as the "Chinese" one we had bought in Ouarzazate broke down back at Oasis.
