    This is so satisfying to watch! I have a question, would the gum arabic dilute the paint or would the original richness of the paint remain? I guess I'm just wondering what the difference is between that and using just water to soften them up before putting them into the pan? x

      Yes, it’s the same richness. You can also use it with water. In the case the paint is very old(powder), it’s better to add some gum arabic(smoother to paint).

    I thought gum arabic was like glue, isn't it better to use glycerin? Every video says something different.

      I used gum arabic as I turned tube paint into solid paint, but if you want to revive the paint, I think glycerin, which has a moisturizing effect, would be good.

      That's why I was asking about the glycerin.

      It's the same thing, solid paint = pan.
