The 'Imitator intimidator, stimulator, simulator of data, eliminator' makes perfect sense and isn't pointless rhyming. He's saying he intimidates people that imitate rap styles, stimulates people with his songs and I always took the simulator of data to mean he's capable of taking in all forms of rap and simulating it into his own. Eliminator is straight forward, elimates other rappers.
He's saying he intimidates people that try to imitate HIM. Plus I think there shouldn't be a comma in "simulator of data eliminator" and it basically means the same thing as the first two words. Biting was a huge theme for Eminem at the time. He talks about it in multiple songs on the album and he even had a whole song about it earlier - Biterphobia. It's ironic that Em was accused of biting other rappers on this album.
It's far more likely he did it on purpose than threw random rhyming words together that happen to make sense when you just apply their definitions. I'm used to oldschool rap that does that stuff so it's not incoherent to me.@@ninjireal
@@malikaveli Been listening to that bro. Him and Rakim should pop up on the channel in the future I guess, right? That's like the foundation.. And Big Daddy Kane.
You should listen to the original Infinite, but you can't find it on Spotify. This was a remix of the original Infinite track. The whole album 'Infinite' (That you can find on TH-cam) is great, especially 'Open mic', 'Tonite' and 'Its OK'. The original Infinite track is way deeper and spacey so give it a listen.
This album is way more laid back than others. And you should definitely check it out. Please cover “The Eminem Show” album. Or “The Marshall Mathers LP”. You guys are great at what you do. I love to see fathers and sons connect.
Finally a new Eminem reaction. I’ve been waiting for this. Also, the next time you guys react to EN you guys should react to.Hailie song or I think my dad‘s gone crazy
When I was a 10 year old little white kid ('96-97), living in N Az, I somehow acquired a burnt CD of this album. No idea if it was an original or a copy... But I still have it, something of a prized posession. Was already a hip hop head at heart, but this album and Em, absolutely solidified its being a core part of my upbringing. Hope you can find the original versions.
btw its not the original track, its a remix by F.B.T. original one had a more Eminem-like beat imo. this remix makes it sound more like Nas as it was mentioned in the video
Please do Open Mic and 313 also from the Infinite mixtape, the bars on those tracks are WILD showing Em's early raw talent and potential (they are not on spotify but on youtube / soundcloud /etc )
Probably my favourite Eminem album. Back nearly 25 years ago when it wasn't anywhere near as easy to access this era of Eminem I remember downloading it and being blown away. Just yesterday I sat in the garden and had it on with a bottle of wine. Looking forward to your dad's thoughts on this one. Thanks again guys!
What I love about Infinite is that you hear Eminem’s innocence, playfulness and hunger coming onto the scene. It’s a very different version of Eminem and his albums heavily portray how his mental state or lifestyle was during the time of making each album/song. I’d love to know more about this version of Eminem
He's not as angry because the slim shady personality hadn't been invented yet. It was this album that D12 all came up with alter egos and became more aggressive
I hope to see y’all listen to some later Em one day. Rap God, Not Afraid, Venom, Godzilla, The Monster, and on and on and on, lol. So much amazing stuff. But if you’re sticking to the old stuff, you’ve got to do Sing for the Moment! Love your channel, it’s so wholesome to see two generations sharing and appreciating great music together.
I hope you do the whole album at some point. I first heard about this album early 2000s, really interesting to see how Em's style has changed over the years
Awesome. Thanks for sharing this with your dad. This shows how clever and intricate Eminem has been from the very start. Em sounds about twelve on this - how cool would it be if he made a Vol.2 of this…
The original album is my favourite, I had the bootleg back in the day, no idea where it is now but I think about it sometimes. You should try and find it for your father, and yourself.
this is my absolute favourite hip hop tune of all time along with AZ - Rather Unique, the unusual thing about these tracks is that you need to really feel the beet and know what era it was from to enjoy the tunes to the full extent. The beat in both these tracks means a lot.
I looked everywhere for this song on here finally found it. I was going to say you should def cover this track because your dad loves how Em puts words together and this is a great example of it. Infinite is insane
I also requested this track a long time ago and i appreciate you guys reviewing this track weather it was my comment or not that impacted the decision of you guys doing this one here!! ❤
Lyrical Miracle* Eminem even clowns it in a cypher "Lyrical Miracle Spiritual Individual...Subliminal...in your Swimming Pool" He also clowns it with the homies in a video. You can find it on TH-cam titled something like "Words you can't rhyme anymore"
I’m not sure how to explain it, but hearing the remastered version on infinite play like that in the beginning just brings back the level Eminem was on before Dre and also reminding us all of a masterpiece of a song while also hitting the nostalgia of that time, such a W song.
Eminem's greatest influence was probably Redman. He put Redman at the top of his list. If you listen to redman's first two albums, they sound a lot like Em. They're amazing also. Redman really didn't blow up until his fourth album.
Muddy Waters 3rd Album ... And Redman's albums didn't sound like Em... Em's sounded like Red if anything...got it backwards, I think I knew what you meant though.
Every person thats ever written lyrics have at some point looked up Eminem's first song and found this Masterpiece that should be one the Wonders in the world
Another really good track by Eminem is “soldier” in the album the Eminem show. What lyricism in that song. It’s indescribable. Give it a review with your pops!
Writing this at the beginning of the video. It's gonna be interesting to see if ol Dad can pin point those early Em influences. It's been cool seeing his journey thru hip hop.
13:37 Mr porter Produced the whole Album except 1 Track, Proof was busy at the Hip Hop Shop. Also How about reacting to Eminem's very 1st Track "Eat it" ❤
Pretty sure it was a two brothers, some white guys (not a big deal but pertinent to distinguish them to find them), who tried to move his sound to what was currently "hot", that being NYC hip hop.
Cartoon is also a famous tatooist who eminem has tatoos from. He references him again on "no apologies" And i could be wrong but from what ive read the way i am was his first actual beat. I think dre said on that documentary that em wanted to produce and he was asking to do this or that to the music and dre told him youre producing right now
It’s O.K., Tonite, 313, Maxine, Open Mic, Never 2 Far, Backstabber, Jealously Woes II…. Classic record that was ahead of it’s time and undervalued at the time.
The slim shady lp was actually not Eminem’s second album it was the slim shady ep and that was the album that got Eminem noticed by dr dre and actually some of the songs on the slim shady lp are from the slim shady ep
The cartoons is probably more Car tunes, like listening to music in your car, he references that when he talks about put this in decks and turn the system up.

The common denominator that connects Nas and Eminem is their affinity for Kool G Rap, his story telling, lyricism, and alter ego
