Really like that buffalo horn. Cool collection. Someday I'd like to get a large, authentic navaja .

No nail nick, huh. That makes for a clean-looking blade. Nice covers. I like it.

Cutlery corner came up in my feed today, I'd heard you mention it so I gave it a go. The guy who was presenting was either running out of steam or was partial to a liquid lunch (or both), was only just holding it together at times and was close to rambling, it was funny. The next presenters were perfectly lucid and no fun fun at all. The knives ranged from hot garbage to some good stuff. The Jokers are very nice but i'm a fan of Spanish knives anyway, underrated in my opinion.

It's a mixed bag with their stuff both in product & people, but sometimes they pass along a tidbit of historical information that might be useful.

Yes. Some are like right off the boat tourist knives & others are pretty good.

Thats' a pretty nice knife. I like the joker brand. I need to get some more of them.
I know 420 gets a rap as bad steel but Spain seems to make 420 that rivals Buck 420HC. Horn is a pretty cool material. I saw a "How its Made" episode that showed how they go around making that horn flat for use in jewelry and assorted uses. Jokers are really good. Joker has two brands. Their non "Spain" line of knives are JKR (no Vowels) and are normally out of China.

Wow. Jeroen was just telling me he sees the JKR brand available in his country.

A lot of knives on the table and a Joker talking about them. ehm a lot of talking about a joker or tabling about a knife. Okay i got confused, The horn sounds nice BEEP BEEP. i wonder how they formed that around the handle. The bone X the horn is transluscent. They fight a lot of bulls in Spain, so they should have enough material for the handles, wether bone or horn. The "lock-up" of the blade is nice, slipjoint so not locking, but um restraining i guess is a better word. Oh for Pete's sake it holds the blade open. Joker makes some very nice ones indeed, ofcourse the Koala is a good example, not to be mistaken for the Koala which is a whole other knife. Why they don't number their knives, i don't know, it must be hard working in the factory and getting the right knives into the right boxes. No comprende signor, que? To bad they sold out on this one, it's a pretty good looking working knife. Over here there's also a brand named JKR and put's out the same models out as JoKeR i wonder if there's something fishy about that, i have some JKR knives though and thay are pretty good and budget, they are about the same quality as Joker only cheaper. They claim to be produced in Spain as well, but maybe there is some Chinese city called Spain, like there is a Chinese city called USA so they can rightfully state mad in USA. I first thought that to be a joke, happens to be true though! Thank you very much for the video and congratulations on a great knife friend, have a nice sunday and stay safe.

@@jeroenvoss6231 We have a China Texas too.😂 Texas is big. They come up with lots of names. Many cities names are from people in the Texas independence war against Mexico. Bowie Texas , Houston from Sam Houston, Crockett Texas, Austin, the Capitol after Stephen F. Austin
Known as the "Father of Texas" and the founder of Anglo Texas, he led the second and, ultimately, the successful colonization of the region by bringing 300 families and their slaves from the United States to the tejanos region in 1825. ... His father, Moses Austin, received an empresario grant from Spain to settle Texas.

@@WilliamsKnifeLife That's nice to see how people named the cities. It was pretty much new territory and you had the possibility to name places after people who had a big part in his history. Wait Crockett Texas? after Davey? You could have American knives made in China(Texas) and Chinese knives made in USA(China) hmm not confusing at all! haha Oh imaging they had called Houston Sam, then it would be Sam we have a problem and the whole world wondering who the heck this Sam was. Wasn't Texas one of the states that was the first to seceed the Union? If i see how the economy in Texas is now and all the resources thay had, it could have been a whole new country. Except that well the Yankees won at Gettysburg. Although winning, it costed far to much lives on both sides.

Joker knives look pretty well made. Spanish steel was known for its fine quality steel in the old days. Fact is; you don’t want a crappy sword if you are a Bull Fighter. The covers on your new knife could be Ox Horn; I only think this; because other knives I saw that use it looks like yours. “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die”. (Princes Bride) Some Spanish Rapier and Spanish Toledo Swords are as priceless as Samurai Swords. That’s no Joker! My question is how can you tell Bull Horn from Cow Horn? 🎄🎅🦖🗡😂
