When it comes to Bass yes my LG CK99 obliterates every party system or speaker I own. The only one that can come remotely close is my giga sound. After all the LG ck99 has the highest amount of wattage output but certainly not 5000w maybe 2800w which is still higher than any other speaker system or speakers in wattage I own. But the JBL partyboxes I own do have slightly better sound quality.
@@kohyiottstereomcvideos did u change your opinion? your first videos of the LG you talked trash saying your giga sound was better and had better tight bass
@@glasp1 yes. The LG was lacking with performance at that time. This was before I found out about the bass blast plus feature. And also my LG was having a problem of cutting out the bass at higher volumes. But now over the years my LG has significantly improved and now beats my giga especially with the new bass blast plus feature I found out about with significantly improved the bass. Also I think the subwoofers needed a bit of a break in through time
@@glasp1 it's not a myth because I witnessed it with mine. It just takes a while depending how often and loud you play it because mine took 4 years to break in. Even when I had my friend come over he said he felt his arm hairs stand when it was at 28/40 bass blast plus. My LG used to not be that strong before and also used to not be able to knock over things like it does now
One thing that I don't like about this thing is that there's no way to set a bluetooth pin. Had the thing power up in the middle of the night blasting music with the volume above 25 when some phone being used by one of my neighbors connected. Scared the hell out of me. ANY bluetooth equipped device can connect unchallenged and the 'lock' feature doesn't work, it just asks whoever is connecting to confirm they want to connect. Selecting some other function doesn't help either. Only way to be sure this does not happen again is to leave it unplugged.
Mine does power on by itself sometimes too depending on if it's connected to my two phones or my laptop but it never starts playing music unless one of my devices is already playing noise but it doesn't push the volume past 25 it usually starts the volume low between 10 to 13 where I normally keep it Honestly I think the LG CK99 has a mind of its own and perhaps maybe even haunted lol. But there's so much more that you can do or change how the LG CK99 performes because of those po01-15 numbers inside the system. Maybe there's a way to change it where the LG doesn't do that anymore. I've also heard there's a hidden locking feature but I forgot how to do it. There also might be a way to set a bluetooth pin inside those numbers as well but I'm not sure.
@@kohyiottstereomcvideos It will try to match the percentage of whatever volume the phone or whatever is transmitting is set at. I always have to remember to turn my phone down before connecting to play music otherwise I might end up having a heart attack. Remembering the first time I tried to sync up the system with my LG TV (I have my LG99 set behind my sofa on the back wall so it can double as a rear output). Anyway there was this pinging noise from both the TV and the stereo you are supposed to synchronize and the pinging from the stereo was like an icepick in my ears it was so loud.
@@stavrosmegalos yeah the Lg ck99 does correspond to your phone volume but mine usually adjust the volume depending on what volume I've been listening at. I have a TV but I never tried to even hook it up to my TV. I just use Bluetooth through a Chromecast.
Is like you so much prefer ck 99 than other party systems in your room?
