Chitpur Station, also known as Kolkata Railway Station, is a major railway station in Kolkata, India. It is one of the four major railway stations in the city, along with Howrah Station, Sealdah Station, and Kolkata Terminal. Chitpur Station is located in the Chitpur neighborhood, in the northern part of Kolkata, and serves as a terminal for many long-distance and suburban trains.
Chitpur Station was originally built in 1854 as the eastern terminus of the East Indian Railway. Over the years, it has been expanded and modernized to accommodate the increasing number of passengers and trains passing through the station. Today, the station has 13 platforms and handles around 450 trains and 500,000 passengers every day.
Chitpur Station is an important transportation hub in Kolkata, connecting the city to other parts of India through its extensive railway network. It is also located close to many popular tourist attractions in Kolkata, such as the Marble Palace, Kumartuli, and the Nakhoda Mosque.
চিতপুর স্টেশন একটি ট্রেন স্টেশন যা ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যে অবস্থিত। এটি কলকাতা শহর হতে প্রায় ২৫ কিলোমিটার উত্তর দিকে অবস্থিত। চিতপুর স্টেশন হল কলকাতা মহানগরীর সবচেয়ে বড় স্টেশনগুলোর মধ্যে একটি। এটি দক্ষিণ পূর্ব রেলওয়ের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ টার্মিনাল স্টেশন হিসাবে পরিচিত। চিতপুর স্টেশনে ন্যায্য সংখ্যক প্রধান লাইন থাকে এবং এটি প্রায় সমস্ত রাজধানী এবং একটির উপর ট্রেনগুলির বিভিন্ন দূরত্বে থাকে।

ট্রেন থেকে নেমে সাথে সাথে কি পাওয়া যাবে রিটারিং রুম পাওয়া যাবে..?

Try করে দেখতে পারেন। Available থাকলে পেয়ে যাবেন। তবে শর্ত থাকে, ২৪ ঘন্টার বেশি সময়ের জন্য রুম দেয় না।

If the room is empty and the officer's mood is good to go then you can enter before slot time. they only have 2 retairing room available in chitpur station.
