Back in the early 2000 like 2001 or 2002 a guy brought into work a whole box of new CDs to select from he got as a gift. One was dirty vegas. I didn't take it because I had no idea, that popular song may not have hit yet days gone by. I should have snagged that CD. I'd have loved dirty Vegas from that early point. I love this song and video. Would be so cool for a hot waitress to say save me......wait a minute.....that's how I met my wife of q9 years from aug 2001. She didnt say save me but it was her 1st hour working there in the resturant, her 3rd day in the usa.

I had the privilege of seeing Dirty Vegas live at Ruby Skye in San Francisco, and wow they didn't disappoint. Rare for an artist to have so many good tracks on their album, but Dirty Vegas pulled it off.

I agree, a tragedy that Dirty Vegas never made the big BIG time. I first heard their music at a trendy cafe at Camden Lock in London in about 2005 or so and asked the waiter what music it was, then immediately bought both their CDs.
This came out around 2005 and i worked in a radio station those times annnddd i bombarded the playlists with this song :D but yeah more than 10 years i havent heard this!

This has always been one of my favorite music videos and one of my favorite songs. I remember when the best version of this on TH-cam was about 2 pixels. Glad to be able to see it in better resolution. I think about this song a lot and I will always love it until the day I die.

I was a freshman around 2009 on our marching band trip to disney world. First time ever being more than a state away from ohio, Florida was like a whole new world, and one night we had dinner at the planet hollywood, and this music video came on all the tvs and projectors in the place and i was just enamored with it. I don’t even remember the food or anything else, just this wonderful song and feeling it gave me. Then finding out they also did the song days go by which was just a nostalgia trip for me.

There may have been a woke message intended but I seen it as him happening to be the only one aware of what the guy was doing and his choosing to do something about it. Only the money spilling out clued everyone else to what had occured and had been going on almost unnoticed. And would have were it not for the one being ignored.
Just for the record, I used to be extremely bigoted. That has slowly changed and evolved into understanding that principle matters such as truth, love, courage and heroism play out across the globe constantly and that ethnicity is never a component in the equation. Good Samaritans exist and operate despite every social engineering effort made.
