@@Roshea Yes, that was the "sweet spot" But there is good chill out there still. Downtempo is always great but the fine threads are fairly expensive for the younger folk.
Its not the last, love your thought about the sound, I'm playing bass with the chaps, watch this space. New sounds and live coming your way. Im from Southport uk, The other chaps all Manchester, Covid put a downer on live music, It will come back like a bouncing ball. believe and good will my friend. :)
Today is the day i found you, after years of searching years of you showing up as a background music which is to soft to be found with applications, or to much talking in between you . Finally i will sleep well Love the tune
I heard this song on Pandora while driving on the freeway headed toward torrance, and man it fit the mood. It was a cloudy day, and pretty much sweater weather, but the outside temp still being warm.
jerro95 I see Damm how is it there? It's been so long since iv been there I use to live close to alondra park in front of the apartments? Ha yeah kinda close by there more closer to the jack in the box under the bridge by chuckie cheese I believe there's a golf place there too
I will forever Love Jazz Music! This song helped me stay positive through years of living around a lot of violence living in Philly. It reminded me to stay positive , true to my self and to walk with Adonai Yahweh Elohim all my days with a true smile of joy daily. You have to tape into your inner peace and bring it forth into the world and stay intune. Remix your life , nod your head, eat healthy, work out, create good things and be the super hero you deserve! Ase Aloha Amen Shalom!
Yea, I don't know why, but I agree. It's probably been used in a few commercials you saw as a kid or maybe a movie or two that needed some slick jazz playing in the background.
Love this band!!! Their tune French Letter is my favorite. It's totally sampling the late 1960s instrumental Love Is Blue! Another great instrumental along with Classical Gas!
I have not heard this in years. I did not know so many people were in to it. My records are in storage at the moment. I have this as a 7" single some where. Wicked tune.
Some real good producers out there but J Walk killed it on this beat! It's so refreshing to hear music like this still coming out!! Mad props.... I was in a bar here in Santa Fe, New Mexico at The Brewing Company and the bar tender was playing off his phone on the loud speakers and I had to ask whose instrumental this was. Been jamming it ever since...
Dude thank you so much, I've been trying to think of what that song was for three days after hearing this. All I could remember wasit was a rap song that used this same beat. I couldn't remember the lyrics or nothing, just that I loved the song.
The setting is a city in the mid 70's, in the middle of the night. Tensions between the gangs boiled over, an hour ago. The boss told me to stay back, and bring the car around, in a half hour. I drive up, inconspicuously to the place, and find nobody's left alive. Bodies of the boss, the boys, and all of the rivals litter the ground, along with packs of drugs, and cash. Looks like they tried to make one last deal, or disguise it as one. The cops haven't shown up yet, and there's so much within reach. I'm get out for some, when I see someone else wandered onto the scene. He looks like a poor nobody, like me when I started. The kinda guy who's always been under someone else's boot, and hasn't even been in the game. I slowly go for my gun, then our eyes meet. He looks so tired, and solemn. And without another word, he just turns around, and walks away. I get back in, and leave, too. Driving until I'm in the suburbs. Along the way, I dump the gun, and whatever's in the trunk over the bridge, when I'm clear. I don't think I'll be keeping this car, either. I'm almost home, anyway. I can walk the rest, and there's plenty of that amber light for the streets. And the credits start rolling in, to this music.
Laying bed at my sister's house with Rocket🐕🦺🚀 wishing Boo was here to snuggle with us and listen to his music 🎶 there are so many playlists...its going to take me a lifetime to get through them all. I'm happy with that. As long as he's there hearing and vibing in it with me. Which he is....even when he's not here beside me...He's with me in every note. Intended orchestration?
I'm seeing... Bruce Lee in a 70's Kung Fu movie walking down a street in Hong Kong wearing oversized sunglasses, a flower print button down shirt and bell-bottom pants... 😅

The memory of a future that never happened. The wonder of hopeful youth
The late 90s / early 2000s were the best time for downtempo & chillout

Jwalk manages to extract my anger when heavy metal fails to do so, well done man.
Reminds me of soundtracks of movies from the 60s.
