Japanese women are the last to keep guitar rock music. Thank them for that
KOIAI is a great example on why Japanese pop-rock music is way above other countries. It's catchy and really pleasant to the ears, but without being boring or predictable
With such a tight band you couldn't expect any less: Kotono beautiful voice, Hazuki and Wakazaemon doing an impressive job on the rytyhm section, Kanade killing it on drums, and ofc Lisa-X blowing us away with a freakin killer solo

I'm really hoping that Wakazaemon makes the leap (just like Kanade did) and becomes full-time member of this amazing band, then they'll truly be a complete unit. This is technically brilliant ladies, love it.
I think it will be difficult if we consider that Waka already member of east of eden and also have her session player schedules. However, if it's possible, it would be really great.
In many ways she's already a member, but from what I've heard her contract with EoE is very restrictive, she can't officially join another band.
She is so good in this song...definitely need more Wakazaemon and KOIAI!
Kanade’s drumming style is so chill and elegant. Yet, she can rock with the best of them. She makes it look so easy. I hope this band will stay together for a long time.

"Come See Me" has elements of Jazz and Pop. Kotono's voice reminds me of Shade. Great phrasing! Her vocals are better and better!

I know, its hard to think of a nineteen year old as a veteran guitarist. I remember when Kanade Sato won the "Hit Like a Girl" competition when she was 11. And, Now at 22, she's one of the finest drummers in the World! What can I say about Hazuki? She is the balance! Even though WakaZaemon isn't considered a member; she is a major contributor to their sound! No matter who she plays with, she does exactly what's needed! Koiai is evolving rapidly. Very cool, This is an instant classic. I love the directions they take with their music. I think Wakazaemon is the perfect Bass player for this band. Just incredible.

超絶技巧集団の中にガールズダンスグループ的な雰囲気のあるKotonoがいるのがこのバンドの最大の特徴かつ、強みになってくる予感がする。
この曲なんかはKotonoあってこそな感じがするし。メタル系メンバーで固めてたらこの曲は生まれて無かったんじゃないかな？
あとメンバー個々が成長段階で正式ベーシストもいない未熟とも言える状態のバンドなのに、こんなハイレベルな曲を出してくる奇妙さ。ヤバい。
あとは継続してくれる事と、色んな人に見つかれば必ず勝てます。

KOIAIs song writing ability is clearly up there with their awesome performance skills. This track is sophisticated in its arrangement, melodic progression and the balance between the instruments and Kotonos vocals.

好みでしょと言われればそれまでだが最高すぎた。コピーは出来てもこれだけの作曲と編曲を0から作る事の出来るバンドは国内にはいないだろう。このバンドの凄さと曲の完成度の高さを多くの人に知ってほしい。声を張るような荒々しい歌い方バージョンも聴いてみたい。

Great bass lines? Edgy, noisy, pretentious and completely clueless what supports the song-lines. After hearing that I must say that I sure hope that Waka-person keeps being busy with other projects. I don't want her as their bass player anymore, I want somebody that plays warm, sturdy, harmonic lines and not some nervous slap crap-mess, thank you.

@@StefanOlzon You know, my kind of people with quite high IQ and still with excellent taste have often difficulties to find support with the masses of the stupid - nothing new here. ;) Remember that majority of the people in the so called "western countries" see hip hop/rap as "the best" "music"! I listened this track through again and still really hate bass player ruining it as much as she possibly can. I had such high hopes for this band but then some egomaniac clown musician that doesn't even belong to the band comes ruining their stuff. 'Automatic' already had really stupid bass trolling but this got even worse - much worse! :(

@@FullmetalHotpants Yesterday, the latest KOIAI looked much more gorgeous than you know. The outfits were the same as this MV. Waka’s had a similar texture.
They played another tune nobody knows from a new EP they are making. The 3rd EP will be released later. The release date is not specified.
They were video-shooting for the next live BD! Don’t miss it! The release date is not specified as well. I suppose it would be 5 or 6 months later.
As you know, the next show will be in October with Takayoshi Ohmura Band. Not only that, they are planning next year's show. Lisa said so. I’m not sure if that will be held in Japan or abroad. Stay tuned!
By the way, I can never ever catch up with Lisa’s speed of light!

I’m extremely excited for the new EP and maybe there will be a chance to buy the Blu-ray this time! The last Blu-ray sold out before I even had a chance to buy it overseas. Although it was disappointing, I’m also glad, as a sold-out Blu-ray is a sign of their success 🤘

KOIAIの強みは、Work of Art的な楽曲もやるし、ストレートな'80sROCKも、PolyphiaのABCみたいな曲も、なんでもできてしまうことですね。しかもKOTONOさんは踊れてしまう。これらの多様な曲を破綻なくKOIAIの色に染めるには、超絶なギターテクとともに、KOTONOさんの歌は絶対に必要だったんだなと気づかされました。
そしてやはり奏さんの加入は大きい！A New Picture のスタジオ版とLIVE版を聴き比べるともうぜんぜん違いますｗ 奏さんの貢献がすばらしい！あとはわかざえもんさんｗ・・・お待ちしておりますｗｗ

The song balances the technical prowess of the instrumental very well with the dreamy vocals used here. Though we can't see Waka we can hear her shine just as well as the rest of the all-stars.
This band grows on you!! Lisa X and Huzuki are amazing!!! As is bass and drums ! It's like a jazz/rock sound !!! Cool I love it !!!😁❤
Always a good day when there's new KOIAI. The blend of pop, prog, AOR, and metal is a hard one, but it sounds so good. Everything about this song is pure ear candy.
Man, Kanade is one major addition to the sound. Amazing what a drummer can add. Would love to see Kanade carry some of these songs (A New Picture, especially) back over to be covered by Rie aka Suzaku and/or Muses.

Li-sa-xのバンドということで、聴いてみたのですが、曲の感じといい、他のメンバーの方も凄いテクニシャン揃いで安定した演奏。正直、感動しました。とてもオシャレな都会サウンドが完成していると思います。国内でこういったサウンドをやってるバンドは知らないですし、まさに世界を狙えるレベルの世界観と、演奏テクだと思います。これからガッツリ応援していきます！
