I love how you've translated this very significant change in your life and all of the "challenges" you encountered into multiple artistic expressions -- several delightful videos, a mythical yet personal journal and a layered vignette memento!! In my eyes the mini paper dolls connect back to previous tenants who left items (newspaper clipping from the 1930's, tickets and sewing pins) for you to find in the future. With that in mind, it might be fun to put small pieces of "junk" from your own "collections" into a small box or tin and tuck it way back in a corner of your entry hall closet. That way in 80 or 90 years someone else can "explore" the "relics" that you've left behind...and wonder about the amazing artist that lived there!! 😉💐

I’ve been collecting things from moving into new house and will do it for my craft room. If I did it in a swallow box, it would make a nice cover for my move junk journal.

Luise, this was so inspiring. This creation is a wonderful way to make a memory keeper to hang on a wall. You gave me an idea, to create a collage of items of things a friend or family member enjoys doing such as some dice for the game called Bunco, or yarn and crochet hooks, needles and thread-sewing etc. I loved your creation, awesome as always. Wow!! This looks amazing!! I have used heavy gel medium in the past for 3d projects. It comes in matte or gloss. The two children made it all complete. Thank you for sharing. Hope that this new chapter brings lots of fairy dust!!!

Oh my goodness!!!(in a good way). I had wondered what you were gonna do with all your rusty and bent up nails, as well as the junk you made your ink impressions with. I love what you've done with it!! I don't have enough junk yet, but some day I hope to make a wall hanging collaged with junk. Who knows, your wall junk collage might just become the next art gallery display!!
