I have enrolled for the exam on April 25th .I made lot of notes , followed cheat sheets as well . Also I have been practicing NASM Edge questions as well , hope I will get it on first try
Thank you so much for this video! 😢 I love the delivery of your video. It wasn’t overwhelming, and that has been hard to find on TH-cam. I will be using your tips and tricks. ❤
Thank you so much! I wasn't sure where to start and I didn't want to buy the book (too pricey and wasn't sure what parts to read), but your advice helped a lot. Thank you!!
I love how fun and simply you made this video Steffy! I was wondering, when making the appointment for the NASM exam, did you make the proctor exam through NASM?
Does the CPT certification allow you to do online coaching/clients? Also, if you don’t do the nutrition bundle, can you still give meal plans or advice to clients?
Technically yes. You don’t necessarily need a cert to coach online it’s usually for in person gyms only require it. Some clients online may prefer to know you are certified and I’m sure it helps out a ton. However I know many successful online coaches who aren’t certified they’re just very knowledgeable and have hired other coaches they learned from
@@julesiscool2263 YES ! As Alex mentioned! 😃 unless you’re working for a big box gym, you don’t necessarily need it! I know at my gym, we can’t give out meal plans unless we are certified. We can only give them tips and stuff
Thank you for making this video and sharing your resources. I've been really bogging down in Section 3; did you get any questions on the exam that asked you to name specific muscles, like gluteus maximus, minimus, and medius instead of just glutes?
Of course 💓 I hope it helps in some way! But no I did not get any questions having to name any muscles! If anything just make sure you know the muscles that are over/under active when someone has incorrect posture or when assessing them using the OHS assessment 😃
Over active under active muscles is huge. I along with others have had about 10-15 questions in relation to that
Yess !! I had quite a few too! 😅😅😅
