Not only does it need offline championships. It needs to save all the settings. Allowing you to move from series to series with ease. And not forget what settings you need to change.
It is a software rF2 Log Analyzer witch allows to easy create single player championships in RF2, Race 07 and AMS1. It works in the browser but locally and just takes the logs from last race and puts it in the table accuring points. Works well for me.
I'd like to see S397 add the latest GT3 cars , the physics and ffb in this sim are so good it would be interesting to compare those to the ACC versions . I find myself jumping on ACC these days just for the convenience of getting a race online straight away but if rFactor was as convenient I would probably just be on that all the time 🤔
I would like to see the ability of choosing how many pit stops the cars have to make in a race... to be able to make the cars do a compulsory pit stop! And hopefully they have fixed yellow flag car slow down during safety car periods!
Agree that we still need some SP improvements - resuming races from replays not reverting to default car setups and losing scripted weather would be a massive one for me as I mainly do WEC racing, and championship creation as you said would be good. A way to control class splits would be good too without having to create custom Car/Track sets.
Did a quick test yesterday. Gt3 ai at Monza still won't take the player's slipstream, on the contrary they will drop back and keep their distance on the main straight even if I lift and cost from Parabolica to T1. They will also slow down when close to curbs out of both Lesmos. A shame.
My hope is that even if the behaviour isn't where we would like it yet, that they have done "back end" work to make it more tuneable for future updates. Have you messed around with the AI limiter and aggressiveness? Someone said it was brilliant in the btcc with aggression at 30% and limiter at 85%. That was at 110% strength. Might be worth a try ☺️
I just really started getting into RF2 like a week ago and was pretty disappointed because of the AI shifting and slowing down bugs. Happy to hear it is fixed, now I just need to figure out how to get the lock to horizon to work better because in VR it's pretty brutal. FFB and physics are really good though.
There are some cars in factor 2 that when we make the turn, even if the turn is slow, the car loses its rear end very easily, is there a way to fix this?
In the next update, whenever it will be released, they should finally update the cockpits from the Porsche 911 GT3R and Audi R8! They look like noob modders have done them! rF2 is hopelessly lagging behind other sims like AMS2 or even Raceroom! Still no track map and why the HUD is positioned in the middle of the dashboard and not on the right side??? Even seems that modding scene has abandoned rF2 as well. Barely new cars and tracks and new current liveries for existing cars. rF2 is a huge construction area with building things up, but leaving other important things untouched. In my opinion rF2 has no future. It will be merciless left behind by AMS2 or Assetto Corsa 2 later.
For me important: they fixed the ai going slower during nighttime. They sometimes dropped 7 seconds a lap during nighttime when normally drivers are doing their best laps during the dark because of cooler temps. This meant you were suddenly 6 to 7 seconds faster a lap during nighttime.
@@haxorcomputerservices I found the Knockhill by LaserCutter and its a great track but the AI have a real hard time and keep rolling over when they attack the curbs, which is a shame but thanks for the heads up.
I love how the Porsche cup drives, and some open wheels, but boy the minute you race the ai, it falls aparte hard still, most of these are either on the Porsche thr mx5 , catherham and some open wheels, go for a gap when there's no space on the inside, punt on breaking zones, act lile the player is not there at all, slyline in bathurst is certain death, no matter ai aggression low or high, they're either rockets in the straight line taking aways SECONDS, in the exact same car which makes no sense at all, or worse once o set it to 100% to see how much gap of difference to only won the race fron the back mind you in a 10 lap race by 40 seconds of margin again, no sense at all. They follow each other in line not all the time but ia pretty noticeable, oh almost forgot they overtake you just to slow down for no reason Right in front of you, they didn't fix anything regarding ai. No matter how much you teak things or test, or change this or that, is just another gradient of awful. The ai really doesn't know how to handle the space around a player, side by side no chance, behind you, they'll kill ya and see gap when there's not, in front of you breaking in places where it makes no sense sonyou either avoid them or crash and spin , Raceroom does that, in that the ai goes for it wjen there's a gap but they actually manage to not kill you 99% of the time, or if there's contact is not lethal. Boy and i though ac ai was bad i much rather race them
Probably not played it enough to fully understand the AI issues and crashes. But excited to see if they offer updated BTCC content or perhaps more tracks.
One big thing, really, is that the BTCC cars (AI) would roll at corners like "Sunny in" at croft. It was funny to see but very wrong. As for content, I think people are expecting the Cupra.

Have you tried LFM for rfactor 2? ☺️
@@pitlanes yea I have 😁 that has definitely helped 👍

All of what you said! Yes!
@@pitlanes oh and a massive one I missed - tyre strats for the AI! They always do a full pitstop instead of double-triple stinting tyres if possible!

Interesting I've never really had any issues with vr I rf2. Glad you like the physics etc though
Yeah, lock to horizon is essential. People have been asking for it for years.

S397 prepping for that WEC DLC 😄

Well that's super interesting. I saw the note but didn't think it was THAT impactful. Wow
When is this update expected to land?
I hope the next update brings the Cupra to make a full BTCC grid along side a laser scanned version of Knockhill !
Knockhill!!! I totally forgot. I was thinking snetterton!
We have a brilliant Knockhill from Dave, Snetterton is much needed I think.

Hopefully Ai rolling over larger curbs has been addressed.
Can confirm it's fixed
Good job Studio397!
