Tails and Rouge are my favorite characters, and Tails really knocked it out of the park in this movie! If we get Amy and Rouge in the future it'll be my whole childhood back

As a lifelong 16 year old Sonic fan, all I'm saying is that if they're doing Shadow's backstory, they MIGHT have to bump the movie to a PG-13. Maria's death live action is going to be insane. PLUS Shadow having trauma from seeing his sister/best friend die?? Yeah. Def can't be PG. Sure, the backstory is gonna be less dark due to Gerald still being alive (for some odd reason), but not less enough for Sonic 3 not to earn the PG-13 rating.
See the Knuckles series of 6 episodes. It happens between the second and the third film and will explain some things like how Knuckles has flaming punches in the third movie trailer and more about the military organisation GUN.
As a teen who grew up with Sonic, I was SO HYPED to see my boy in a movie 4 years ago (when I was 13). I also saw the trailer back when Sonic was ugly, and I was disgusted with how Sonic almost looked. THANK GOD the internet bullied Paramount into changing Sonic, therefore resulting in a redesign. They got Sonic's personality right in this film, and I was happy about that. Plus, the town name, Green Hill, is a reference to Green Hill Zone in the first Sonic game?! Amazing. And Tails came in the second movie, a wonderful reference to the games, when Tails debuted in the second film. PLUS my boy Knuckles came?! I didn't care if that wasn't video game accurate---I was a huge Knuckles fan when I was little. (As well as a Mighty, Espio, Silver, and Shadow fan) I CAN'T WAIT for Sonic 3 to come out on December 20th! Bought the exclusive poster on September 20th and everything. If Rouge and Omega are in Sonic 3, then that'll complete Team Dark. Hopefully they add Amy too--She's overdue for her debut.
