This one was a real callback to Jim's golden years. Sonic 2 is like if The Cable Guy and Ace Ventura did the fusion dance. Sonic 2 really made me feel like a kid again in the best way.
Not so Fun Fact. Juice Wrld had a song that was supposed to be for the movie but his label didn’t want that song to be his first released song after his passing. It’s called Keep Up.

Can’t thank y’all enough for reacting to this live-action video game film. Sonic is my personal favorite video game series since the OG Sega game of 1991. Glad they did this movie justice for not going the “ugly Sonic” route. Director Jeff Fowler actually listened to the negative feedback and redesigned him for the better!

Its so many movies out there, the Breakfast Club and The Outsiders were popular in the 80s so hopefully we get to see y'all do a lot of classics: Blade, Blue Streak, Die Hard, Fifth Element, Final Destination etc...we here.
1. I did like this movie. But yeah, it's definitely just an introduction cuz you're not really getting THAT Sonic fix you're looking for. It was just cool he had a movie and it was a fun time. But luckily it did well enough to keep going and that's where it starts getting better and inching towards what we want to see. 2. It's a kids movie, but luckily it's still entertaining for us even despite that. Probably why they got Jim Carrey. My biggest concern is that being SO geared towards kids that some elements of the actual games will be viewed as "too dark/mature" for the movies of the same freakin series. But I hear the third movie might raise the rating a little or almost push it up, as it's heavily inspired by Sonic Adventure 2 and Shadow The Hedgehog 2005. So I look forward to that one. 3. You will DEFINITELY love the second movie so much more. More action and... well... KNUCKLES. lol
Again, Sonic is a kids franchise all the way around there’s Disney movies that had darker themes and situations go on than any sonic game so I think it’ll be fine

I mean all of those fall under “kids” I suppose but people tend to me little kids when they say it. And in that case, my point still stands that it would be wild for people to not be able to show things in the movies that are already in the games, essentially saying “Sonic is too dark for Sonic” just because people don’t ACTUALLY understand the maturity level of the series. lol But based on what you’re saying, Disney movies with darker themes and situations than any Sonic game then you’re saying we’ll be able to see a flashback of a soldier shooting a terminally ill 12 year old girl without any problems then? And yes, there is a third movie on the way releasing on December 20th this year, but I will not spoil anything until, once again, you react to Sonic 2 as soon as possible. And of course, stick around for the post-credit scene at the end of the film.
