I suggest you react to a RUSH song called "Test For Echo" - the live in concert version is "Rush - Test For Echo - 1997/06/30 - Molson Amphiteatre - Toronto, Ontario --- or the studio original song is "Rush - Test For Echo" - the song is the title track song - the album is also called "Test For Echo" - a lot of the late 1990's lyrics in the song are about similar things going on in the News right now
I so totally agree with you on Alex Lifeson. He is a brilliant guitarist! Let the rest of the band it is his attention to detail. The subtle changes and the complexity of his playing is second to none. Great song! I am suggesting Secret Touch and Digital Man both from the Snakes and Arrows tour. Cheers
Thanks for reacting to this one! I love the reggae vibe of this song. The sound marked a departure from their earlier, heavier music, which divided fans at the time (for what my opinion is worth, I love all of the eras of Rush's music). I suggest checking out their live performance of 'Between the Wheels' from the R30 tour; it's one of my personal favorites, especially live.
Le Studio saw such great musical history. A residential recording studio in the Laurentian Mountains near the town of Morin-Heights, Quebec, Canada... On 11 August 2017, the building was partially destroyed by "a suspicious" fire. What remained of the complex was demolished in 2020.
FABULOUS BAND. I saw them on the Signals tour at Madison Square Garden in NYC, when I was 18. Geddy is the reason I became a professional bassist. ❤❤❤❤ Thanks, Geddy! ❤❤❤❤
The best band. And a great song to end a perfect album. And you can certainly say Neil wrote most lyrics. Other than the first album (obviously) he wrote lyrics for all but only a handful of the songs. You should listen to "Middletown Dreams" off of the Power Windows album. I think you'd like it. Studio version.
Yes, Neil wrote the vast majority of the lyrics for their songs for their second album, Fly by Night, after he joined. But, Geddy and Alex wrote the vast majority of the music. Very early in they decided to take equal writing credit on all songs from then on. A very fair approach financially which helped ensure they could stay together as friends all those years! No money in the way.
@@mattbaker5757 LOL Matt! If that’s your biggest sin you are doing alright! Late at night here on vacation in Italy and I probably overcorrected too. Stan probably knew what I said since he’s been reacting for a while. Anyway, cheers.
Stan, I've always loved your reactions. Last night after work, I saw this video and was thrilled that you really REALLY love RUSH. That made my night as they had a life changing impact on me as well. So between last night and tonight, I watched ALL of your RUSH reaction videos and they were Johnny Blaze Fire! I want to ask you to please go back to their Fly By Night album the first release after the Neil joined. Please listen to the title cut "Fly By Night". I can tell you "Caress of Steel", "2112", "A Farewell to Kings", Hemispheres all of them are excellent. There is a double live album "All The Worlds A Stage". They've always been perfect live. Much love. I don't know what Groot means, but I must be Groot too.
“Meta-Reggae” this track. Such a groove. You don’t want it to end. Last track on Moving Pictures. Lyric here gives you the title of the next LP, Signals.
great reaction I've seen u are a long-time rush dude, glad u love rush. got u sometime when clouds clear, appreciate how u listen thru, then react. need to make you the primary default, TH-cam reactor model lol. well wishes to you and yours.
Vital Signs is a sleeper off Moving Pics that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle because Side 1 is so perfect, but here’s a secret…so is Side 2!!’
Rush...best band ever.

This is the first Rush tour I saw! Saw I think 4 more afterwards through late eighties!
I would agree with you on everything.
Awesome reaction, Stan, thanks...Todd from Ohio
Love this one. Thanks Stan

Rush is a lifelong journey.
Rush is great because: TRUTH
Don't second guess yourself Stan, trust your intuition and me, you can say with confidence that Neil wrote the majority of the songs.

@@MJS-ON My mistake, I mean to say lyrics, not songs. It was late last night...

Even the deep stuff is better than most.
