I know the creators and have personally helped in assembling some of them. I have not had the chance to try them yet, but I am glad you enjoyed them.

Dude only has 1 video on TH-cam. I think you were paid by keymouse for the good review.

Serious infomercial vibes on this video.

Hey Mike! Do you know anyone that's selling a keymouse alpha? The website shows they've stopped selling them and I'm very interested in getting one. Regards

Well this was a great review! I just discovered KeyMouse after ordering a set of Ergodox EZ. Now I'm not sure if I should cancel them or go total yolo and buy both! Not sure if the wallet will hold up for that though!

Great review Mike. It looks like the area near the wrist is high up from the table/desk surface. I'm used to my wrist & "pad" that's aligned w/my pinky on the surface. I'm assuming if there was any discomfort you would've highlighted it. Is simply resting your hands onto the devices ergonomically correct and comfy?

Thanks for the kind words, Mark! I also used wrist pads for my old school mouse and keyboard, and I have found the comfort transition to be excellent. I sincerely do not miss them.
Now that being said, I should mention that I used the pads for comfort rather than medicinal value. I have been blessedly free of any repetitive stress or carpal injuries, in spite of making a living at a computer for the last 25 years. My sense is that, as with all the rest of the design, the team was incredibly mindful of that potential user base; but your experience could vary a touch depending on your physiology.
Last thing would be: SIZE MATTERS. :-) If you are considering taking the plunge you would definitely want to match the device to your hands for greatest comfort. I tried a friend's extra large just for comparison sake and it was an awkward garbage fire.

@@mikevas5099 It's not easy forking over half a grand for the keymouse but i did it today =) I'm sure it'll take some time to get used to but the thought of not having to go back and forth (i have wide shoulders) and programming lots of shortcuts/macros makes me smile inside. Huge thanks again for the video and replying Mike. Not a small purchase (for me, anyway) so it's really helpful to get a down-to-earth opinion like yours when researching. Take Care sir.

Awesome, Mark! I sincerely hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. I apologize in advance for the swearing and frustration of the first couple of days. I do promise that it gets much, much better. :-)

So weird! I gotta admit that it's a little scary and I want to run home to mama aka fancy logitech lol Suck it up and get better Mark damnit! The fact that m y left hand is doing so much is such an odd but cool feeling. ok enough from me. Thanks yet again Mike. Oh if anyone else is reading this, trust me, there's no lag at all. Thumbs up

@@HippieP629 Ha! Stick with it. Like I said, there is definitely an adjustment period. but I promise the pain and the swearing and the weird sentences will diminish with time. :-)

I really like your Review. It´s hard to find a good one yet that goes into all the details.
I maybe will buy a KeyMouse too, yet i am not really convinced. So i had so many peripherals already. Logitech G13, Razer Orbweaver to name a few, i have much more, but they are mostly unknown. However, i never had a good feeling with them. Now i see this KeyMouse and i am very interested.
I would mostly want to use it for Gaming, so how does it feel when you not have an normal mouse button on your right hand and instead have keyboard buttons to shoot? I will remap N and M for this. You talked about Strategy Games, but what about First Person Games? And yes, you said you still using a Gaming Mouse. But i really want to use only this KeyMouse and not other Mouses except a Controller for Games that requiring it. And how does it feel compared to a normal Mouse (the one i am using right now is a Logitech G903)?
Don´t want to sound rude, but please give me an good answer, because your statement could dependent on my decision wether i buy it or not. :)

Sorry for the lag in reply! I was traveling in Asia for the last month and missed this comment. :-)
To be honest, if your sole consideration for the KeyMouse is gaming, then I would probably save your money. I used the KeyMouse exclusively during my recent travels to play WoW, and while it was totally functional (and actually preferable in terms of number of bind options), I found myself missing the deep precision of my gamer mouse. I could see maaaaaybe getting used to playing a shooter with it, but it would be a rough transition.
      Hope this helps!
