This is a video designed for sports scientists, sport and strength coaches, and other practitioners working in sport on how to get the most out of Google Sheets for sports science and performance.
We go over how to use the SORT function in Google Sheets. We learn how to dynamically sort data in different ways and sort multiple columns that are non-adjacent to one another. In our example, we sort a list of players (column A) and their points per game (column C) without displaying the players' positions (column B).
This concept could be used to dynamically display top performers within a dashboard using various types of performance data, including sprint times, jump heights, training load measures, and in-game performance metrics.
