- If you thought Yuri and Alica voice acting is bad, this is even worse. It's pretty noticeable Ires talks like zombie, but do you notice something really wrong with other voice actors? Zeros sound like child with really bad foreign accent. I think they're trying to make Zard sound like bad stereotype - an old Asian man speaking English.
Fun Fact: When the staff realized they were short one voice actor, the voice actress for Rin actually volunteered to give birth to a baby to be the final voice actor needed. That baby plays the part of Zeros.

Zeros' voice sounds the exact opposite of how he looks (I don't think 4 year olds should voice 16 year olds), and Zard sounds like a bad impersonation of Christopher Walken.

"OK. OK." to quote that ridiculous reaction from Hyoma. I've figured it out. They didn't use family members because it was cheaper; they did it because they knew it would make the awful dialogue unintentionally hilarious. How did I discover this? ZEROS IS A FREAKIN TODDLER!

Actually, I'm pretty sure Zeros is actually voiced by a toddler. The guy who made the English translation for this game literally just got his family members to do the voices, that's why the voice acting is so terrible.

"The game was heavily criticized for its poor English dubbing, due to O3's CEO Chris Jelinek getting family members to do the voiceovers instead of hiring professional voice actors."

The guy that ported this game from Japan couldn't find voice actors. So he rounded up his family to voice the characters. You're right. I think Ires is his wife and Zeros is his 4 year old son.

Yeah, we HAD to get him on our team after hearing THAT! I think it's the same kid who voices Tonaly. He probably said "I wanna be a COOL character" so they let him voice Zeros.
Yeah, the voice work was half-assed because they probably didn't want to do it. Sony quality control says there MUST be a dub track so they threw one together on the cheap because they figured everyone would just use the JP voices.
Apparently Zeros didn't hit puberty yet...
Ires had a male voice in Japanese. This wasn't the case for the English voice track...

Zard's accent does sound like a terrible stereotype, but not of an old Asian trying to sound American. I can't name the specific accent, though. One of the eastern states.

Actually we should blame Sony for having a "You MUST dub if there more than X amount of voice acting" policy. They probably figured no one would use the English voices so they just grabbed friends and family and threw a dub track together on the cheap, expecting everyone to just switch to the Japanese voices.
...except the voice acting is so EPICALLY BAD that I bought the game just for it! XD
